If he had only 1 really tough match, he might have a chance BUT Probably has to beat Cilic in the quarters, then Sinner in the semi's and Alcaraz in the final, Alcaraz has Norrie next. Gets much harder for Djokovic now, as to be expected at this point in the draw.

Just come back from Centre Court, Alcaraz is making all of it hard work, big fan, but got a feeling Sinner might turn the tables if they both make the final. BUT what a match that will be, if so.

Would love it if Raducanu beats Sabalenka, very unlikely BUT Sabalenka has some intensity issues in matches, so if Emma can stay with her AND the crowd get really involved. You never know…..

County have been brilliant this season, from where who knows, but who cares, lets hope it does get some extra bums down there, in recognition of the squads effort, well done so far guys. And try and keep this lot together IF we go up.

I always think, we all think we have a choice, like Cooper, we don't really or the pool is really small of PROVEN managers at the Champs/PL level. Maresca was a risk but the club backed him a little, the man incoming will have little to work with aside from whats left and probably little or no money. When we are a mid table PL side we are more attractive, till then its the slops, just get a guy in that can get results and some limited success i.e. quick promotion. We'd love attacking football but a goodly percentage got bore of Enzo's tik a taka after half a season & weren't unhappy when he went to Chelsea.

What's long term??? BRodgers & Pearson are the only manager that have been at the club more than 100+ games since Micky Adams (2004-21 years) i.e. a little over 2 seasons, cast your eyes over managers in the top 2 divisions. With any manager now its about season 1 + 1, coz if they are good they will be poached or leave after 1-2 seasons, if they are rubbish they are sacked. And lets be honest RVN is probably the most ineffective useless manager we ever had and Cooper was likely to fail as the season went on as he would have been given no money in Jan and they weren't good enough.

Anybody see the comment from Martin Samuel in the Sunday Times yesterday. We would like to get rid of RVN but cannot coz of PSR, with a possible 12 pointer AND having to pay him off. Assets will need to be sold, making them weaker. Leicester erred with RVN and thats what PSR does - it cements mistakes in place, no second chances. So Leicester will be relegated, suffer a points deduction in the league below, conduct a fire sale of what little talent the club does possess, while being stuck with the manager who has shown little aptitude for the job. No one is arguing the club has been run poorly, but PSR ensures they get no opportunity to change course. This isn't double jeopardy its quadruple jeopardy.

Wanted Alcaraz to win BUT Sinner was truly amazing and so sad for, him. The big 3-4 have been replaced by these 2. Stunning

In the end we are where we are, destroyed over the last 3 years+ by a totally misguided and bereft group of decision makers. IF Pearson and post Pearson has told us anything AT LEICESTER the manager has very little longevity and in the game as whole managers do well to be there 3 seasons. Clubs and fans are impatient for success. We may get some points deduction BUT there are so many things to sort currently: 1) RVN isn't the man to get us back up 2) There is a dozen if not 10 deadwood in that squad that needs to go for horrendous ability and expensive wages 3) A group of players that has some/above average ability, are committed to play for the club and the badge and want and desire success THIS SEASON i.e. promotion, needs to be brought in to replace By hook or by crook we just need to get up and whatever as fans we think that misguided group may well have settled on Martin, though not popular we just have to deal with & live with it and HOPE he gets results that we want, and if we are promoted we don't make the mistakes we did from last July onwards. Since the 13th July 2015 including Dean Smith, the next manager will be the 9th, if the new incumbent fails he will be gone, if he's successful, he'll last a couple of years and I suspect the decision group will be desperate to be promoted first time, they know they have to right the ship properly and quickly. Though not popular, its not our choice sadly.

IF I was us I would do everything to take it this season, the season is gone, meaningless and worthless, lets toss the fire on a wasted season. Much better approach than taking it next season OR the next season we are in the Prem.

Firstly 5th twice was overperforming, secondly we knew by Oct/Nov time, they lost 6 of the first 7 games, conceding 4, 5 and 6, I'm mean come on........we were in TROUBLE They've destroyed the club in the short to medium term.

Tell you what though, bit of summer homework, distribution has always been a bit questionable though thats not what he is there for BUT it was shocking yesterday. And he's had other games like that, bit of a liability on that front.

Think we are going to be champions. Only three teams won more than 4 games in Div 2 and 2 went up, Sussex won 8. We are the top scoring batting and bowling sides, and they've now dogged out a couple of wins that were a real battle. That team has grit and spirit that the city could do with. They know how to win and how not to lose.

Many on here have been saying the same thing again and again for the last 2-3 years, and we still are. The sad thing is that so much of the joy we gained over many of the last 10+ years has been destroyed by simple bad decision after bad decision, by people who are just ill-equipped to hold the roles they do and make the decisions they do. No succession planning, no strategic thought, but kneejerk reaction rather than proaction, continual horrendous transfer activity and wage structure with a few exceptions, wasting money hand over fist, not recognising early enough when the ship was heading downwards. That joy has been turned by others within the club to just a general disenchantment and disconnection, frustration and anger. At the moment I just don't massively care, though at least County are going to get promoted and are TOP OF the LEAGUE, so lets have a summer off from this "sh#tshow" season as somebody called it recently. I've got the DVD's I can always watch those insteador the Cricket, Tennis etc.
