NO fan would have offered those contracts if they had been running the financial side of the playing side. How come we all see it and they don't, same with the unrequired Skipp purchase. Why lengthy contracts when you are performing well at a lower level after failing at the top level. As much as the length is actually the offer, they should have been advantageous to us AND if they didn't like them they could walk, which they may have done. It isn't the difference, all 3 are in the club and we are STILL 2nd bottom. They all failed repeatedly!! Vesty has been much better last and this season but has made 22 PL apps, BUT we know what the fans think of Ward, and Hamza just isn't a PL starter, 51 apps in 5 PL seasons, many many subs. Swap + cash with Skipp, we actually need shot of that as much as we need KDH. Thats up there with the worst purchase in recent times. That money should have been kept in the pocket for now, We've played 20 games, he's started and player 90mins 4 times, at £20m you'd expect him to be an ever present, he's appeared 6 time as well for less than 45 mins. Bringing KDH for £5m-£10m would bring somebody REALLY challenging for a midfield spot. Takes the next Bertrand/Hamza off the books, i.e. hefty contract, lot of years, back up player NO CHANCE would buy that though

Presume Rudkin et al are back from holiday like the rest of the UK or will they be taking more time off as it’s holidays across Europe today? I actually think his decision making is poor, when, to pass, shoot or take them on, he more often than not picks the wrong one, he’s got confidence issues & drifts in and out of games too much. If he ditched the short adjustment thing, he’d be more productive

For me, it just shows you have to bite the bullet and live within your means. I know we stretched to turn 2 5ths into 4ths but it failed BUT we won the FA Cup. But the problems we have had since we have won the cup and where we are now i.e. the new Burnley & Sheff Utd, if we go down in May, shows don't be held ransom to one player in negotiation, let it go and look for another. Not even Vardy as great as he is kept us up 2 years ago and is struggling to do so this season, when likely already passed his best. The list shows the big wedges generally don't pay, and never give anybody more than 4 years Edouard £90k, Coady like him but £75k, Soumare took 3 years to come good, Daka never quite got there, Vestergaard & Hamza got a new contract off the championship after being pants for seasons in the top flight, Skipp should have been £35k, we didn't need him anyway-what a waste of vital money this season. Look at the best players, and even if they perform in or out they are value Stephy, the best Mads, Buananotte, BEK, Abdul. Live with paying £70-80k tops, a few on £40-£50k, and the cheap ones are because we went down and picked them up then. Learn from what has happened over the last 3-5 years, but we aren't. Businesswise they don't have a clue, most people learn on the job, they aren't. No one or two players will make the difference to us currently, walk away if you are not happy with the cost. I mean who signs Souttar on a 5.5 year contract

Apparently Manure are hamstrung by PSR. I believe they are in the same boat as us just a higher money level. They can't bring in much, as they haven't been successful of late, no ECL, probably won't qualify for Europe this year. Bought players at massive prices that are utter tripe, seen them recently? And they are all on massive wages see Ward, Choudry etc. but many times higher e.g. Rashford Lets hope all those that say we will be OK, because we sold KDH on the 30th June will be right. You have to say, as we were facing PSR big issues in June, to get the Maths wrong, when you are under investigation and there had been so much press about Forest & Everton would be stupidity beyond ANYTHING we have EVER seen down the club. Thats just about being able to add up and subtract, even I can do that.
