Him and Evan Ferguson. The kind of players where people assume they are still the same as when they were in their purple patches but are currently absolute dogmuck.
-
The fact that all but 3 of those are players we currently have at the club as well... It makes me shiver thinking about it.

Ings Ayew Reid Ndidi Skipp Mcateer Kristiansen Keane Coady Justin Begovic Sean Dyches dream team for the 25/26 championship season!
-
Some people are sick of our owner twaddling around not getting rid of Van Nistelrooy. I'm sick of the EFL not giving us a transfer ban already!
-
I'm not guaranteeing that Ivanovic never becomes anything better than what he is now. He could spend a year with us and improve a level. For now 12 goals in the championship is what we should be targeting for a backup striker with potential, not a dream signing. At this point Ivanovic isn't anything particularly special.
-
What a sad state we are in as a club where a striker with 12 championship goals last season is considered 'the dream'
-
To be honest we still probably go up again with Ruud in place. We stomped a full strength QPR in the FA cup last season who gave us a hard time last time we were in the championship with Maresca. If we cant get someone good then it's probably best to not start a manager merry go round.
-
Vardy says he hasn't had any clubs contact him. I was hoping that a la liga club like Valencia or Real Betis would go for him, considering they've managed to make a player out of ayoze perez over there.
-
We already have bench options for striker in Daka, Evans and Ayew (and sadly Greenwood isn't an upgrade on any of them). If we sign a striker it needs to be a starter, no more sub par 'options off the bench'!

We should be on our hands and knees for the manager who oversaw the worst decline in our history!
-
Would rather extend Danny Ward than have Morton play for us.
-
Everything you've just described: Ayew up front, Mcateer and Fatawu "locking down" the wings, Skipp or Ndidi in midfield just sounds gross.
-
Watch us sell Mads, bring in a new number one that isn't better than Stolarczyk and barely play Stolarczyk over the new guy. Only for Stolarczyk to leave on a free in a few years time.

Bilal El Khannouss joins - Official

Rutter had a similar level season to the one he just had with Brighton the year before he joined Leeds with Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga. There's little evidence that he's a better player than he was 3 years ago, the championship is only good for developing players who arent already used to a higher level. -

Summerville tore up the championship then went missing for a whole season. Players learn more in more difficult environment, if anything dropping a level below results in players stagnating. -

Same goes for you. El Khannous clearly has quality and is a Premier League level player. There's not much you can do individually when the rest of your team are miles off it. -
Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)
honeybradger replied to CloudFox's topic in Transfer Talk
£10mil for Wout Faes would be ridiculous business from us and very poor for whoever is buying. We will be lucky to break even. -
They've just balked at £25mil for Maignan, we won't get a decent price from them for Hermansen.
-
He's far to good to spend a season in the championship and for my money is better than Evanilson anyway. Getting him on loan is very much a pipe dream and we should be looking to develop our own players anyway.
-
Why do people think Bournemouth are going to let one of the best talents around go on loan in the championship for a season? He will be one of the surprise players in the PL next season.
-
Who said we have the next Neymar on our hands? He only needs to be as good as or better than Bobby Reid and Jordan Ayew as that's his competition. I feel like that's achievable.

Development/Youth Squads 2025/2026 Thread - U18/U21
honeybradger replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
If we're comparing like for like in terms of position Vitinha failed at Wolves at 20 years old and is now one of the best midfielders in the world at 25. Midfielders who arent built well arent always managers' cups of tea but just because Baybrooke didn't start regularly in the Scottish league doesnt mean he cant flourish at a higher level with a manager that puts faith in him. -

Jeremy monga news is huge. No mention of a new contract for Jake Evans though? Should we be worried that he might leave? -
This is exactly what we deserve to be honest. How many years have we been in the red regarding PSR and these idiots still sign Skipp for £25mil, bring Edouard on crazy wages, sign Winks and Coady on crazy wages, renew Vestergaard's contact etc. If a financial clamp is the only way the club are going to be forced to cut down on the wage bill then I'm all for it. We're genuinely better off without all these overpaid tossers anyway.
