Page made as many tackles in 18 minutes against Burton as Cullen did in both games. If Martin wants steel then you don't play Cullen who floats round the pitch like a fairy.

If you want to play possession football then you must play your most technical midfielders. If Pep Guardiola was our manager Braybrooke and Page would be the first two names on the team sheet. Martin is just a clueless and poor imitation.

Choudhury has 150 games at championship and PL level. Okoli has 100 games at PL, Serie A and Championship level. Luke Thomas has 100 games at PL and championship level. Skipp has 160 games at PL and championship level. Meanwhile our best player Will Alves has 15 games at championship level and Braybrooke and Joseph have 0. Number of games means very little.

Jeremy Jacquet was playing in Ligue 2 just over a year ago, and made a £60mil move to Liverpool this summer. Van Dijk was playing in the scottish league till the age of 24. We're also not your regular league one club, we have a lot more money and a perceived ability to make the leap from league one to the PL. He looks class and is only 19, a move to us in league one doesn't disqualify him from being highly rated.

Is your source reliable? If true then Martin is such a fraud. His whole career he's been wedded to this possession style but when he has a opportunity to use a young midfielder who excels in possession he decides it's too risky and wants to be more defensive. You can't play it out from the back then not use the likes of Page. You either use your best players in possession or you opt for a more pragmatic approach. The way we have it now is the worst of both worlds.

We didnt win a game with Winks starting from November to the final game of last season. There were times where we were better off playing Oliver fing Skipp over him. Aside from those first 6 months Winks was a complete disaster for us. Braybrooke didn't have the best game today but I'm certain Winks would have been far worse.
