Very true, and also limiting for public events in a digital age. No use of phones, only walking or cycling to events...I've even had to open the refrigerator for a friend on a Saturday, so he could have a pregame beverage (he wouldn't open it himself). Restrictions are typically in place from around sunset on Friday, to an hour after sunset on Saturday.

That airspace is known to be highly congested and the need for security around DC makes it doubly challenging, but commercial pilots who fly in and out of Reagan National are given very specific flight paths, so there’s really no deviation on their end. Scratching my head, not because of merit, but because of MLS rules. MLS teams are permitted a max of 3 designated players (aka big money signings whose wages fall outside the MLS salary cap). Messi, Zaha (on loan) and Benteke are examples of other current designated players. Red Bulls look to already have 3 such players on their roster. There’s certainly ways around it, but it would make the deal more complex to pull off.
