  1. He’s been brilliant for us. I hope somehow he’s still here in a weeks time and is convinced to sign some sort of extension just to give himself some sort of insurance for if he picks up an injury etc. maybe another year with a lowish mark where we have to sell him if a club offers us that money. Suits us In that we get something and suits Yuri in that he gets a bit of insurance.
  2. Reading this I can sort of understand why the majority of other clubs fans would like us to get relegated. So many people have lost the plot. We’ve punched for a few seasons and now it’s time to realise who we really are. We are merely West Brom, Sunderland, West Ham , Derby, Reading, Wolves etc with one difference. That was we made the most of our top form. We won trophies. I enjoyed the success and I’ll enjoy the good times again when we get relegated and ultimately come back up because basically that is who we are. A team who will yo yo in the top two divisions.
  3. I’m not sure they were top ten for 9 years. I’d fact check that. I’m sure I can remember them being like 13th a couple of times in that time.
  4. This is starting to remind me of when Mr Singh offered me 150k for an house I was selling many years ago and I told him 165k was the lowest I’d go. For the next two weeks he’d re appear with a tiny increase until finally a different Mr Singh offered 165k and ultimately bought the house. Hopefully a different club will all of a sudden come in with an offer we want.
  5. Late Big Dan winner incoming with him picking up a second yellow card for jumping into the Chelsea fans to celebrate his winner.
  6. As Morgan gibbs been playing regularly at Wolves. This looks at first glance to be one of the most over priced signings I’ve ever seen.
  7. Think Nacho starts and scores at least two in a good win and becomes first choice striker for the remainder of the season in which he goes onto score 24 goals and wins the golden boot. 😜
  8. I know a Danish lad that would be a great replacement
  9. The problem is how the games are reffed as well. Bookings aren’t dished out like they will be come the weekend and for a hour the Ref was very lenient, especially with the cynical little fouls stopping our breaks. We basically didn’t get the protection you’d get in the Prem league. Some of the dirty fouls in that second half were horrendous for a so called friendly. Leave playing Spanish sides in friendly games from now on.
  10. I’ve bought Wesley Fofana goals at 1.25 and also bought his personal goal minutes at 65. Very small down side and I personally can easily see him scoring 3 or 4 goals in the league this season, especially if he plays for Chelsea 😜. I’d love a couple of 90th min goals.
  11. Regarding boards I’ll back up what the previous poster says. Winmau all the way. I’ve got a blade 5 which I’ve recently put up, after hammering my previous blade 5 for two years and tbf it was still okay compared to some u see in pubs but I got a brand new one cheap so replaced it. Deffo recommend u get the pro boards though as the cheaper ones will have the old fashioned wires and the bounce outs will do your head in. Any of the blade boards will do.
  12. The use of Arundel late in the day was stupid. the Aussies knew nothing about him. What does the muppet do. Bring him on when the game is over and show them him for free basically. In that brief five mins he scared the death out of Australia and they’ll be well prepared for him now. Ridiculous management. He’d have won the game for us yesterday had we brought him on early in the second half when they were a man down.
  13. Hate the concept of card only but it did work in my favour at an hotel the other week where it was card only and their technology all went down whilst I’d just bought a round. Couldn’t pay and they wouldn’t even take cash. Free round was obtained.
  14. Think it’s Queninborough unless they’ve moved again.
  15. I went to the final Tigers lost to Saracens in 2011 and I couldn’t believe where we sat there were three blokes wearing Bath shirts. Imagine going to the FA cup final we won against Chelsea and seeing three Liverpool shirts.
  16. The next time Gemma, or any of the other muppets for that matter, says. “I’m not going to lie” before talking some rubbish, my new massive TV gets smashed.
  17. I can see Forest starting bad and Cooper, who’s done wonders getting them up, being fired. He then goes somewhere in the Championship and brings a side up as Forest deservedly go back down with 18points.
  18. We were on the verge of battering Villarreal that night before the leg break which just killed the game for us. When u look at how good they were in the Champions League it sickens me that dirty mucker who assaulted Wes basically ruined our season.
  19. One or two have already mentioned the curries that parents and schools served up in the late 70s early 80s. Absolutely revolting with currants in as well the one my mum made. I remember having my first Asian Curry when I was about 18 and could not believe the rubbish I’d been told was a curry prior to that.
  20. Liver was my most hated food as a youngster. Obviously it’s cheap and as a kid growing up my parents were often skint and liver was served up plenty, as was corned beef hash which I wasn’t keen on either. Anyway I went thirty years without touching liver up and till recently when, after watching some cooking programme late one night, I realised it wasn’t supposed to be fried for about half hour like my mum used to cook it and it is actually best served pink. Next day I broke the bank and spent 90p on a few slices of lambs liver which I lightly fried for lunch and had with a few onions. Wow. I was gobsmacked just how nice it was.
  21. I might have a different view if I’d been a prem player but jeez you wouldn’t want a stereotypical WAG like these pair who are forever clamouring to be front page news.
  22. Galway will take some beating. Bit of a pain the drive down from Knock if in a taxi but a cracking place for a lads weekend.
  23. Watching how Madrid managed to slow the second period of extra time down last night fills me with dread if we are behind in the second half.
  24. Incredible the sectional times them marathon lads do. I remember running in a relay marathon alongside the main event many many years ago. I think there was 10 or 12 in the team and there were varying distance legs from like a mile an half up to 4mile. Anyway the men’s winner led us all the way and we didn’t see him and our team finished just behind the women’s winner, which considering we were all fit lads who played lots of sport was amazing. I’d assumed up and till then that marathon runners merely jogged
