  1. Gnonto must be the most 'injured' player in the league. Never goes longer than 5 minutes without holding something.
  2. Its one thing Plymouth taking the risk, but why is Rooney still bothering. Obviously still thinks he's a manager in the making
  3. Man City were favourites but people were talking like they were playing Wrexham in the final. There was always a chance Man utd win this. Not a massive man utd fan buy its not a bad thing Man City losing finals.
  4. I think the higher Enzo goes the more his philosophy Will work. He needs top level footballers. He's done great to get some of our lot to play the way he wants.
  5. I'm no expert, but if Labour aren't going to win this, I don't see how they ever will. But it will be interesting to see turnout. I'm in Blackpool where Labour won a seat very recently, but all that really happened was Conservative voters didn't vote rather than changing their vote. Interesting to see if they come back at a general.
  6. Are 'elite' managers crippling clubs with their wages? Seems to be a change for clubs looking at up coming managers, especially if they have no control over signings.
  7. I was thinking more see if he's any good. Then loan to us
  8. Can understand spot betting in lower paid sports, or at a lower level but why are top level footballers risking anything.
  9. Kompany going to Bayern is one thing but Craig Bellamy joining him makes it funnier..
  10. Sign him for Leuven first.
  11. Always harder for attacking options to make the squad.
  12. I thought that, maybe not dark horses but definitely should be right up there. But then I remembered who their manager is.
  13. Love Marc but surely there isn't much of a conversation to be had? It's a thank you for your efforts and good luck.
  14. Might not have been agreed but now you've mentioned it. It will be an easy thing for the FA to do.
  15. Finally started looking like a team who could develop next season with younger players. Maybe they just need someone cheaper. Welcome Frank Lampard.
  16. If Shaw proves his fitness he will go. Trafford Quanseh Wharton Jones Bowen/Eze Konsa Gomez I think Southgate has already decided this.
  17. Harvey Elliot should be ahead of Curtis Jones too. Would balance the other attacking midfielders quite well. Not that either will go in the end.
  18. Just been trying to write down my 26 and there are so many attacking midfield options and quite short on midfielders, I'd actually still take Henderson for a bit of balance to the squad. It's going to be very top heavy as Southgate just takes them all. Genuinely can't decide on centre backs.
  19. Looks as though Southgate has gone for players in the 33 who he feels he can easily drop and not take. Kind of makes sense, no point naming Rashford, Henderson etc if not going to take them.
  20. Personally would have Alexander-Arnold in with Rice and Walker at full back. For certain games.
  21. In the group stage we could get away with the midfield 3 of Rice, Foden, Bellingham but against anyone half decent Rice gets completely overun. Man City manage it with Rodri but their defence is strong with 1on1 battles. You'd have to ask Bellingham to drop deeper, which I think he is capable of to be fair.
  22. I would take Rashford, bit of a wildcard maybe but I think he offers an ability to play from the left that no-one else does, directness and has history of making things happen for England.
  23. A lot of talk of this announcement but isn't he announcing 32/33 players, that should be pretty much everyone.
  24. Brighton will get it wrong eventually. But i do like that they don't seem to be bullied by managers, it's their way or you go. Russell Martin is going to get a reasonably good job next, because he's convinced people in football he's a good manager without achieving anything. But I think Brighton are cleverer than that.
  25. Can't see it happening with the English and probably German leagues but I'm sure Spain won't really have a problem with it.
