Realistic Managerial Replacements
J. James replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Spot on, what many don't factor in is the mindset of top coaches and players ,they didn't get to the top of the tree by "doing ok" at successful clubs, they excelled at failing or mediocre clubs and so moved up the ladder. The mindset to do this is "I can do what others can't because I'm brilliant". Hence players move to clubs in the absolute belief that they are better than the present occupier of their position, despite all the evidence to the contrary, and managers are not put off by a seemingly poor squad or useless owner. And of course a payout of a few million if things go T.U.is a slight consolation ! -
Realistic Managerial Replacements

I beg to disagree, every time I post on the BBC (inevitably after another shocking performance), laying the blame squarely at the feet of the terrible two, the post gets hammered, I am "ungrateful", and "the present owner won the prem". Some live in a fantasy world and simply do not want to face reality, like trying to convince a true believer their God doesn't exist! -
Every cloud eh?

Another good looking lad, lets hope he's better than the last p***y magnet we had here ( carrenza), who many said someone so good looking can't be crap..hmmm....
-
For me it's just another scene in the clown show that they have turned Leicester city into, I've gone through disappointment, anger, disbelief and disdain. Now I laugh out loud at the idiots in charge. But nothing will change, the captain -advised by the first officer - have set the course and we are on an irreversible course towards the iceberg.

It's not really about the line up, even the best manager in the world can only pick the people he has! (Although how Thomas is starting still is a mystery ). It's all about HOW he plays them surely. But if the style is the same as before, (or worse), then the sacking was pointless and just another blame shifting exercise from nepo baby.

Sadly this is spot on, this appalling situation is like a car crash that you are powerless to prevent happening as you are just the passenger. Frankly nothing can change what these useless articles are going to do to us, league one may be an unattainable dream soon.

People confuse the way he had to play his teams with how he'd like to play. We have seen lots of extremely limited and pig headed managers here recently who say it's my way or the highway, ignoring the unfortunate fact that our extremely limited players are literally incapable of delivering. Dyche was and is precisely what we needed and need, but lots of our fans think and thunk we are better than him.

Yep,we need a manager on the same level as the owner...oh wait....🫥

Probably will be, definitely won't be. -
Nah,it's possible for a human mouth to pronounce it..🫥

Lol, that's like saying "well l know this Fortnum and Mason pork pie is mouldy inside but l have to eat it cos it cost so much".

And that is the whole problem, just as F1 has now stopped being a sport and has become "entertainment", football is following the same path, it's "the Match Day Experience" that has brainwashed the passive observers into seeing the game as just a component in a nice day out, spoiled by people who complain about one tiny part of "A luvly day out". Once, the match WAS the whole point, and so people who attended were sport orientated football fans, those days are over - at least in the top divisions. Always keep in mind that the most important thing now for owners/FIFA is making more money from the MDE, closely followed by having more power. Getting the observers - l won't say fans or supporters- to accept that the game is only a small part of "the entertainment " is necessary as it's the unpredictability of that awkward 90 mins which throws a spanner in the works of controlling the money and power. Sorry to say that they don't want you and l at the entertainment now, they want more of them.

Leicester 0-2 Blackburn POST MATCH THREAD
J. James replied to Muzzy_no7's topic in Leicester City Forum
Agreed, but Christmas is just around the corner and the turkeys still aren't voting for it! Chansiri 2 and his dog want a subservient for the vanity project not a difficult man. -
It's the fan base needs to take action not a former player no matter how he may or may not feel, the owners of clubs he may want to go to wouldn't touch any player who goes against one of their own. It's our club, our team being trashed, but if the majority are not bothered - as they clearly aren't - why should he be?
-
Can we? Certainly. Are we more likely to get automatic promotion? Absolutely not Playoffs? Absolutely not Finish just above the relegation places? This is the likely scenario, but the points deduction could be the final nail. Frankly this useless club deserves to go down more than SWFC,at least their supporters took action against a useless owner, unlike our spineless fans.

Cooper - poor Van Rooney - clueless Cifuentes - useless A clear progression so yep, most likely Martin next to clear the way to League one.

Ah but Reginald is quite popular now, l heard a young mother calling her toddler over to her -albeit Reggie not the full Reginald! I think the uptake could be Tom Hardy in Legend but definitely not Reggie Perrin.

Wow,didn't know that! I was really just making the point that pace isn't as important as many people imagine, the ability to be in the right place and slot the ball in is way more valuable imao. Just got to give the bloke a chance and not get on his case instantly. -
