  1. Just as the EPL do everything in their power to prevent a repeat of the disastrous triumph by little Leicester city ever happening again, so the poxy FA have sold the legendary FA cup to them, this will cut off life giving replays to lower league teams who battle for a draw against the so called giants. Lets not give the minnows a chance eh boys This is another nail in the coffin of not just the FA cup but football as a competition generally. Really pissed off with the games money men now, tbh it's gone.
  2. Running a business the size of King Power means that there will be real talent on the board and tried and tested methods and strategies, l would guess that little has changed personel wise since the death of Vichai. I couldn't imagine Top as the owner of a company of this size and value would recruit an unproven managing director with a single idea, a total unwillingness to listen to other voices and accept they may be wrong, or leave it in the hands of others to employ such a person. So why does he run our club this way? After the tragic death of Vichai, l think we all wanted - were in fact desperate - to believe Top was as committed and as capable of continuing the amazing work begun by his father. Very sadly and for a variety of reasons it seems he is not.
  3. The WBA, Soton and Preston games are nailed on losses, by the time we play Blackburn top two will be gone, but even if it wasn't and all we needed was a point, our eggshell players and one dimensional manager would lose. This is not a blip, its another LCFC capitulation, facilitated by a clueless owner and useless board who decided to employ an unproven and tactics free fool. I'm not losing faith, it's long gone.
  4. I really fail to see where the next point is coming from, if we cant beat Millwall and Plymouth then the last 4 are much harder games and frankly all of them look like nailed on defeats. I think we are a joke now tbh and our manager is the focus of it. Poor players, poor manager, poor owners.
  5. A while ago the question was put, boring football but promotion or entertaining football and playoffs.. The concensus seemed to be boring but playoffs. Had the question been boring crap, crumble and blow a massive lead and playoffs or entertainment and playoffs, l think the answer may have been different! He should go away and coach some youngsters because management at championship level is way beyond him.. But it wont happen with our feet of clay owners. From resurgence to demolition, from father to son. We are a prime example of how football clubs go bust.
  6. I too thought this guy was the real deal but he's The fraud mk2.. A total novice who will kill us. P*ssed off now 😡
  7. As has been pointed out by many other people, we will probably yo-yo if we do manage to get up. It's getting to the point where it becomes increasingly unlikely that any promoted team is able to stay up it seems to me. Which is more acceptable l wonder staying in the Championship and winning - albeit in a dull and boring manner, or week after week of hammerings? The bad news is we don't get to choose. The worse news is we'll probably be treated to both unless our owners replace the present incumbent with a man who has a little imagination. And to think how the prospect of Dyche got people lairy!
  8. Yeah but that was only a film.. in real life Ferrari wins.. Or was that a dream 🤔 Any road up F40 over GT40 every day of the week.
  9. IOW style over substance? who knows... 👌👍✔️
  10. Results and only results are what mitigates the dull, boring and frustrating style he clearly likes and demands. He is a one trick pony and when even that goes, what's left? Our squad at the start of the season was a Ferrari in a race of Fords but our novice manager decided to run it on flat tyres. Whether we scrape promotion or not he has very obviously struggled with what should really be the number one attribute for a manager - tactics - and high on the list of tactics is the ability/willingness to surprise. l genuinely think our rivals managers can barely believe that he does exactly what they expect him to do and no matter how good the players, if you know the battle plan then it becomes immeasurably easier to win.
  11. Eh? Oh this you mean..
  12. God help us if by some divine intervention we drag our sorry arses into the EPL, with Enzo in charge it's gonna be even more embarrassing than this kak. We will without a shadow of doubt be setting new lows. Now it's clear that the gamble on an amateur manager is in line with the running of the football club.
  13. We may win thus handsomely but l really dont think the name Daka will feature on the scoreboard, Vardy on for 10 mins likely will.
  14. Personally l find the situation incredibly frustrating and annoying, seeing what our trajectory is and being totally powerless to change it.. As the man said "it's like deja vu all over again". I truly believe those in control of our club exist in a different reality, they don't see because they don't want to see, they appear to be in the " Vardy takes those two chances and we win" camp, ignoring the fact that our opponents were better than us in every way, deserved their win and that we have been found out. This blinkered attitude is what sent us down last season. And nothing has changed since last season, we have another cock sure, arrogant, one dimensional manager who is incapable of change, reacting to a crisis or even recognising that other managers may possibly have worked his single tactic out! The result will be yet another nail in the coffin of this ineptly run club.
  15. So lots of people expected little Ipswich to fade.. Me included.. But in fact, surprise surprise it's us. How does a team full of division one players outperform us, a team full of Premier league players? Answer - there is little difference between them, the difference is passion and guts, we have none they have both in spades. They also have a talented manager who can adapt. We are finished, just as clearly as we were finished last season at this point. A long stay in the championship / division one beckons l think, but then the prem is a club for six with the rest making up the numbers anyway. Football is the worst l ever remember atm and I'm getting so as l couldn't care less.
  16. It goes back way before January tbh, our club has been mismanaged since Top took the reins it seems, allowing the fraud to dismantle us is I'm afraid unforgivable and it's now showing why. We as a club are in big big trouble on and off the pitch. With the group of players Enzo has, his job is frankly easy and this chronic underperformance is on him to a great degree in my opinion. We've seen before what a stubborn man who refuses to change can - and can't - do!
  17. ... And frankly losing easily in the playoffs, this performance is sadly typical of our late season efforts and is totally unacceptable from the players and coach. Not a single shot on target is appalling.
  18. Assuming Leeds beat Millwall by 2 or more, We may return to the top by beating Bristol city, but we'd need to beat them by more than leeds beat a poor Watford side to stay there on gd. Hull and cov may offer resistance but i cant see Blackburn, Sunderland, Middlesbrough or QPR taking anything, form is all at this point and those buggers are flying. We have tricky matches against Norwich, Preston, Soton and WBA any or all of which are very losable.
  19. All we really deserved, if Leeds put 2 on Millwall we may not be top again until we play and (if) we beat Saints, even if we keep winning. May just clinch it on the final day if Soton beat Leeds but I'm not holding my breath. We'll maybe lose out to Leeds on goal difference as we seem to be scoring less than them recently (-10 in the last 10 games) Lots of chances created but a high percentage of shots not on target don't result in goals! Current form needs to improve, continue the same and we finish 3rd behind Leeds and Ipswich. Bite yer hand off for second.
  20. Lol.. I think the question was which would you choose bud, not which is most likely!
  21. Think as in this?
  22. Totally agree, in the next couple of years the prem will be owned by either Americans who know the price of everything and the value of nothing and see fair competition as a hindrance to "entertainment" (see Formula 1) , or even worse, Saudis who have absolutely no concept of the culture and traditions of other countries and even less respect for sportsmanship and honesty ( see Formula 1 and state ordered murder). Personally l have very mixed feelings about possibly being cannon fodder in the corrupt prem again.
  23. The most likely scenario is promotion then immediate relegation sadly, with the added possibility (likelihood?) of points deduction. A season of frustration and anger beckons l fear in the blatantly fixed for the big boys prem. The object of this sport is winning trophies and frankly the EPL have learnt their lesson and will never allow a team like Leicester to get close to winning again. As long as we survive as a club, I'd take the glory of another FA cup over the con of fair competition in the prem ta.
  24. Nice topic Aus Fox... each time a club is added l feel 0.05% happier..when the name is ipswich, I'll feel 30% happier and when its Leeds or soton another 50% happier 😂. My fingernails agree.
  25. Totally agree and we're fighting tooth and nail to get back to the messiest place of them all!
