Doyle was showing some defensive frailties and was getting targeted by wingers. I think JJ has been much more solid defensively but Doyle offered more going forward, especially being able to transition much quicker.

Actually - the cut doesn't do the situation credit. At that point we had succumbed to quite a bit of pressure and we had a few wobbles due to their press. We weren't passing it around comfortably at all, and i remember Faes gesturing like he he did at 3:13. I don't agree with 'punt the bloody thing out', but we had a wobble at that point and Plymouth were getting back into the game. Silly thing is we should have been at least 2-0 up at that point, and could have had 3.

From the sounds of it, neither are likely to be available. But remember that Millwall are much more likely to park the bus against us, so Daka likely won't get the space he got yesterday.

I think we are watching a superstar develop. Presuming promoted, we take our option, but i don't think he will be with us when hes 22. He's destined for one of the big 6. I do think with him and Mads we have 2 potential big transfer fees on our hands.

Praet has the technical ability, but has other fundamental issues. I was rather we were dipping into the market and finding the solution there.

No it wasn't. Daka struggled at times in the first half to read the system and the holdup/link up side of his play was average, but with the amount of minutes he's had this season, that's hardly surprising. It takes time to adjust to Enzoball. I have to watch the highlights properly but it looked like he missed an absolute sitter in the first half. They didn't show a replay in the big screen so that might be harsh of me. However, i thought Daka was excellent in the second half and one of the main reasons for us opening them up. He timed his run perfectly for the goal and was a constant pressing threat. Was always looking for that run, and a good assist as well. Loved all the players reaction after his goal - you get the impression he is a very popular member of the squad. But, before everyone gets too excited, i still think the club will approach everything to do with Daka as if he is off in the January window. I don't think we will see anything change.

Love the form table right now. Spurs play Newcastle next. An interesting one as i think Newcastle will want to bounce back pretty quickly. Forest where they deserve to be.

If Forest offer you’ve got to go. This is likely the easiest season to survive in the PL, do that with forest and it starts a good career in the PL. Cooper getting lots of praise still but I think he’s completely lost now and can’t take it forward. As good as Ipswich have been, if they get promoted they are going to get a mauling in the PL.

Last 2 games he's not subbed the striker. Don't know if this is part of him trying things out, but this is odd because in previous games like Watford subbing the striker changed the game.

For me, the point of the cup is that anyone could draw anyone - love the fact one of Liverpool or Arsenal wont make the 4th round . We have been given a very winnable game.

We've talked about going to some away games this season as i think the boy is old enough to deal with it. But we aren't season ticket holders and have 55 members points each. Without knowing you can get to a game, its a difficult thing to plan. As a family we aren't going to leave weekends free on the miniscule chance we might be able to get tickets for Stoke away. Not had a sniff at anything yet, and not sure we will. I can kind of understand if you are 'in it' you buy out of habit.
