I don't see it as luck. They were pressing and pounced on a mistake. He still had to make the interception and take on the keeper. You create these opportunities when you press they way they do. Nothing like Forest last season, where it felt some crazy divine intervention was granted them crazy amount of luck and good fortune. I mean, they got to play Arsenal at a time where that team wanted to be anywhere else other than a football pitch.

1-0 . Daka bicycle kick.

We aren’t selling him for 60 million, are we?

Ipswich result no bother. Top 2 go up just get promoted.

But Leeds are the best team in the champremiership. They have sommertwat, gnobhead and pirioshite. They won’t drop anymore points. they looked wank. But most teams in this god forsaken league do. all teams will be dropping points.

The beauty of it is that its in our hands.

Time for Fatawu to score that incutting left foot screamer. He's been teeing it up for a while now and this is the game to nail it. Somersault over to the Millwall fans who all lose their sh1te. Then we win 5-0. Best dream ever.

We missed two sitters and should have been 3 up at half time. They weren’t unlucky to be behind.

Nacho now needs to earn his spot.

Hope they shout ‘gerrit forward!!’

Presumably because they persisted with the high line and just couldn't cope. I expect Millwall to play much deeper.

Was at the game and I put my hands up, i didn't notice how good a move this was pulling the midfield towards the keeper and then showing a huge burst of space to capitalise on the longer ball. I could watch that all day.

Contract negotiations are part and parcel of football. If someone else is putting an offer on the table as their contract is coming to an end, the player has every right to see if the existing club is willing to match. If the club decides not to - then fine. We are seeing this more and more, and at least in Kaspers case it was done with a very small fee rather than at the very end of his contract. The issue with last season was not Kaspers behaviour, but the appalling way the management dealt with his replacement.

Did you watch the game yesterday?

Maddison-esque

Bang on. Nice clearly regretted the offer in time. Not adequately replacing was the issue.
-
Is the Chelsea ownership trying to sabotage the club? I can't think of any other reason behind what's going on there. Presume Frank Lampard back for the new year?

The more worrying bit will be that the next generation AI models will be trained on a lot of content generated from current GenAI, which makes a huge amount of information up. Both our kids and the AI are going to learn on inbread content.

Bit of fun mate.....

I think he's bored and needs a few 'fix broken player' projects. That will really get the fans on side.

Old boys around me arrive just before kick off, clearly after a few drinks. Normally have at least 1 visit to the loo each half and pop down at about 40 mins for a half time pint, and are usually gone at about 85 mins. Caught them singing 'straight back up' once or twice, but they aren't the sort to make much noise. I once expressed an opinion they didn't like last season, and i got a bit of 'we've been coming here for over 40 years', but we all quickly got over it. Lovely chaps though who clearly love the club, and are very knowledgeable about the game. I think for a lot of people who have been coming for a long time and have seen everything, there is an element of coming to the game fitting in with your weekend rather than defining your weekend. If you think leaving early gets you in home for tea, and you've been doing it for years, I don't think much will change their minds except for exceptional circumstances. However, i've said time and time again, this happens everywhere - not just in football, and i think there are people who are convinced if they leave a early they are outsmarting the system. I was shocked how quickly the London Stadium emptied the few times ive seen West Ham play (seriously shocked), and i was at a preview of We Will Rock You earlier this year where Brian May made an appearance, and huge amounts of people around me missed as they left just before the encore. I have a colleague at work who is a Liverpool season ticket holder who says the same about Anfield. She goes with her dad, and if she didn't drag him out of the pub there is no way he would get to games on time, and he's always trying to leave early to get his order in quicker than anyone else.
