How about a Foxestalk secret santa?

You've seriously missed the 'any teams can drop points' comment. Leeds are undoubtedly one of the top teams in this division, but the hyperbole around them had got out of hand. I've watched their last 2 games, and they were a little like us when we had our poorer results. Had all the possession, but huffed and puffed, and dare i say it looked poor in front of goal. They aren't immune to dropping points, and will continue to do so all season like everyone else. We know what we need to do, but we will also drop points along the way. Its important we all keep clear heads when we do. Also, don't you think the Leeds players looked like they weren't enjoying their football?

As freak a result as losing to Sunderland? Or the other points they have dropped. All team are going to drop points, including us.

The reality is every team is going to drop points, and on monday it could be our turn. But many thought this Leeds team were running away with it from a form perspective. There is still a long, long way to go, and many in the top 6 are going to drop a lot of points. Our headstart is massive, but we've just got to keep up the form and not lose our heads if we do drop points along the way.

Championship winners Leeds edge 1 point closer to the title after thumping midlands pub team Coventry 1-1.

Want Ipswich to keep winning. Make it harder and harder for Leeds.

Anyone get that feeling when you know 'somethings up' at work?

Its a pain, because for me that size area is the sweet spot. I hate Wembley Arena or the NEC - the sound is appalling and just bounces around the area. The last few stadium gigs ive been to the sound has been terrible as they seem to make the speakers very directional to presumably reduce noise leaking from the Stadium. Guns and Roses at the London stadium sounded shocking. A 6k area would be loud everywhere and have a bouncing audience. But agree that promoters wouldn't gravitate towards this size. Its either the theatres, arenas or Stadiums. Don't know if a 40k KP even hits a sweet spot. But you would think that this size would work for trade shows, touring theatre shows etc.

Actually, when you consider how poor the second half of the table is, and how lauded they are by everyone, sitting in 8th is pretty average. I mean - average is just fine, but they are raved about. Definitely struggled with being in Europe and if they get raided in the Jan window it will start to get harder and harder.

Shows it wasn't going in.

Madders was a special player - the sort you build the team around and give freedom to. For me Winks is everything Youri / Soumare should have been last season, and i certainly don't miss those 2. I do miss Madders though. Be nice for us to score from a free kick at some point!

Personally feel JJ is the much better defender, which is hardly surprising bearing in mind the age and experience gap. The big difference is what Doyle offers in transition. Having both, especially at this level, is brilliant and i think we will see both used throughout the rest of the season.

Don’t forget the dream team pairing of Amartey and Evans.

Played an excellent ball to KDH for the final goal. Thought he had a decent game where he put a lot of effort in.

Bang on. I don’t know why people don’t get this. If Leeds were only 4 points away from 2nd it wouldnt look as tough as it is right now. As it stands, it’s an exhausting 10 points to make up just to get 2nd. Best thing is for both to carry on winning to make the challenge for Leeds as hard as possible.

Thought he was better than in the Plymouth game, which baring in mind Millwall parked the bus for big portions of the game says a lot. Big problem now. No way Kels or Vardy get picked ahead of him, but its very likely he's off anyway. Or is there a twist to the tale and Daka stays..........

Seriously, the atmosphere was much better today. Yes, we are near the singing section but everyone around us made an effort and there was a lot to enjoy. People leaving early is annoying but i've said time and again this happens everywhere. I don't understand it, but people have their reasons. There is a lot to improve, but maybe tonight we can give ourselves a break and say this was one of the better ones?
-
Was fvcking brilliant. I’ve lost my voice.

I might need to leave early to post my review on why the atmosphere was sh1te

Going to live dangerously and head to Nando's. Destroy them.

Yes, didn't make myself clear. I know the tune, but often my tiny brain hasn't registered whats being sung until we are about half way through it, and then its over. Just a mental block i have with that tune.
-
Ha ha! Maybe. Its just a really easy to song to sing. Some of the others aren't (i can never get the Ndidi one right in my head). I think some people don't even realise they are singing along.
-
Fun fact. If we win tonight we will be equal to the great Leeds in the 6 game form table, and will have a better goal difference than them. We are already ahead of them in the 10 game form guide. They are a good team and we just need to keep doing our job, but they have had their reputation elevated somewhat. Yesterday showed (again) they are as capable of dropping points as anyone. Every game, including tonight, can be a banana skin.

Sing the Mavididi chant early on. He had a belter in the last game, and its a brilliant chant. And lots of 'straight back up'. Even the old chaps near me sing that.
