  1. Inspired by watching the that there wrestling on TV, I humbly suggest filling the stadium with small home made banners with obscure references on to something irrelevant to football, to show a lack of interest in what’s going on on and off the pitch. Maybe then the players will put some effort in, to draw the attention of the crowd back to pitch.
  2. Unfortunately being the 5th most successful (IK?) football club of the millennium did not translate into having the 5th most profit or whatever to pay the 5th highest wage bill. p.s I still think Cooper had some luck and got points when (especially with hindsight) we weren’t good enough to get the points, but if that’s what’s gets points to stay up, then get the points and stay up. We were starting to be on an unlucky run, not picking up the undeserved we had been, the question is could Cooper have changed things or got lucky again? I don’t know and realistically we wouldn’t have stayed up because Wolves finally got their act together so it will likely be a big gap between safety and relegation at the end of the season
  3. Pass the Dutchy to left hand side
  4. All games by 2 goals as well
  5. Did Luke Thomas play enough in the previous 2 seasons for Sheffield united and Leicester city for him to have 3 consecutive premier league relegations on his CV?
  6. We need an Austin Healey type player who can play anywhere and wind the opposition up ha ha. (what the F am I doing looking at football related stuff again…. Sigh)
  7. TIFU idea for next home match. A never ending quilt of no longer wanted LCFC tops being carried from the top tier to rows of pitch side braziers…
  8. We’re closer to Southampton on points than safety…
  9. Leicester tigers hospitality for this game is sold out too…
  10. I think we are worse off than we should be but we we also haven’t managed to accidentally score, which I presume we would have if the team was the right positions? But I’m not expert
  11. The quotes at the time were that he was for the future, that obviously didn’t work out and I don’t think any managers talked about him as being one for the future in press conferences after he signed. p.s. just came across this today, Cannon inn!
  12. Whether the fans liked him or not, he wasn’t going to make the first team. I’m sad to hear he was late and wasn’t committed in training. Not our player anymore, so good luck to him.
  13. How is that working out for Édouard?
  14. Mystic What Three Words the app: I was perusing the What Three Words app looking for some inspiration and all I could find was this near the centre circle, result unfair beats, is this a good omen or a bad omen?
  15. I could be wrong but I think Vardy is being selected being he has bought into Ruud’s system and is leading the press on the pitch. Look at his body language, when we don’t have the ball, head down, eyes on the opposition, back bent ready to pounce, an arm or two out stretched by his side giving a signal as to whether to press or not. Does Ruud get that from Daka? I don’t know. Personally I think Vardy could be having a greater influence on the teams system this season than before, when he would be more working himself into position.
  16. I’ve mentally checked out and I don’t even think any of these players are willing to throw themselves around to get a random body part connecting to the ball to divert it into the net, get Mr Roberts in to show them how that is done. I did have hope in some of the sidelined players to eventually come in and make a go of it after decent cameos earlier in the season but Thomas/Bou etc have lost the ball far too much when they been given a start later in the season. So I’m not loudly shouting for a change in players on the pitch, and changes in formation can’t be working on the training ground or Ruud simply doesn’t trust the players not to capitulate when given a new task. If I knew the answer to this conundrum I’d be a highly paid coach/manager myself lol.
  17. yes but no but yes but no but yes. As far as I'm aware Rodgers was at least partially personally responsible for the dismantling of a successful/partially successful recruitment program that kept city in a good place financially and in table position. Do I really need to dig up the players he was excited to bring in but never played, it certainly smelled of backhanders being passed around.
  18. Sorry guys but this story has made me depressed, more depressed than Leicester (City and Club) have made me before. I had no idea Vestergaard was commuting from London. Surely a stipulation of the new contract should have been to relocate more locally. Makes the potential moves he turned down even more interesting when he was quoted as saying he stayed put because of a new born.... Just noticed Jordan Ayew signed for Aston Villa in the season they got relegated too... I remember when a pool table at the training ground was the biggest controversy there. Is it time for Leicester AFC to form and start climbing the league pyramid? Will they pass Joggers FC on the way down?
  19. Come guys, we all know it will be the manager of the team who beat us last, so RVN until the end of the season (because which manager would come here to have a relaxation on their CV), and then the Bournemouth manager next season…
  20. The game was gone after the first goal because we haven’t scored at home for six games, after the second and third goals the players did just look like they had given up though, compete amateurish chaos with no structure.
  21. He has been less shit this season but that is comparative to the rest of the team unfortunately, if he was actually decent he would have taken games by the scruff of the neck and maybe we’d have won a couple more. Depressing really… he definitely runs more and puts himself in passable positions more, but passing back to a player who is being closed done by three opposing players is exactly the opposite of what possession based football is all about imo
  22. I don’t think he was hiding for the whole game and I think he’s putting in more effort and running than he has historically, it’s just that now Ndidi is back he looks a lot worse comparatively.
  23. Wrangler do a cheap knock off version of the shirt, I’ll order one as soon as I get around to measuring my arms..
  24. Parkings not bad, there’s a really long road next to the stadium that no one parks on. Traffic wardens are really accommodating, enthusiastically shouting “oi! You can park here , you don’t need to move!” Or something like that. They even started putting helpful notes on the windscreen straight away. Even more helpfully they moved the car and gave me a lift to its location when I got emotionally distressed about the situation. Only cost £40 to park there and I made the appropriate donation to the police afterwards for all there help, they said it was fine. Anyway enjoy the game and may your clapping always be happy.
