It’s no great surprise - he should be playing Premier League football. It’s ashame it’s not with us but that’s down to our terrible recruitment last summer. We’re just fortunate we’ve got a more than competent Championship keeper in Stolarczyk ready to come in to the side. Hopefully he takes his chance across a whole season - don’t be surprised if there’s a few ups and downs with his development though, all keepers go through it.

At this point it’s probably just best to expect no improvement, the main demands are on the pitch. If we don’t get promoted this season it’s a failure.

Have people forgot how well he played under Maresca in 23/24? He had one very bad game that season against Plymouth and everyone remembers that, thinking he can't do it in the Championship. Sure, we should sell if there's a decent offer, but he'll score goals at this level.

His style of football marries to our squad perfectly for this level. I’m really positive about this appointment. Might not be as smooth for Marti as it was Maresca when he had KDH and Vardy, but can expect similarities in the performances/style if the players perform to the best of their abilities.

You’ve got ‘no Faes, Bouba and VK’ listed there but be honest they’d be good next season in the Championship. Soumare and Ndidi would dominate most Championship midfields.

Personally I think both are very good for the Championship, and we have JJ too.

In all seriousness it’s probably one of the easiest Spanish names to pronounce ever (the C is an S but the rest is pronounced how it’s written) and our fans will probably still pronounce it wrong

I'm not even that bothered about them leaving - in the Championship they're two of the best in their positions. Ideally they do though and we make a profit for PSR/get their wages gone, but I don't expect much demand.

JJ will just play left back if Thomas returns to poor form. I’m not convinced Kristiansen will definitely be sold either, I don’t think the club will be actively pushing him out the door so it’s only if he pushes for a move or a club offers decent money.
