I fear unless you can align pretty much the entire developed world all at once it is hard to overstate the impact that such measures would have on a single economy. What happens if they let Hamas hide in hospitals, schools, apartment buildings, shopping centres and anywhere else with innocent people in them? Given Hamas know the IDF will come into the hospital to find them, I think you have to put equal blame on Hamas. for being there. Sadly neither side in this awful conflict seems to care much about the death toll on innocent civilians.

No of course not. We want talented people to be MPs and this kind of behaviour would make any sensible family person worry about the safety for their family. You cannot pick and choose whether you agree with the protesters or not to decide whether it is ok or not.

The Power they generate was sold at inflated wholesale pricing to their consumer arm which makes a relatively small profit. Then blame the wholesale market pricing. Its tricky because if there were other providers selling the power they generate they would pay the wholesale price too, so consumers would pay pretty much the same. I think the WA approach of requiring the power companies to supply domestic before they can sell to the wholesale market its the way to go here.

I do agree with all of these points, however I can't shake the feeling that people who are very very keen to speak their mind on Israel and its approach in Gaza seem to have sod all to say about the similar horrors carried out around the world. Some people have a specific reason to be interested of course, but I do wonder whether there isn't some antisemitism behind others, especially when they then come out with antisemitic tropes it does rather reinforce that view.
