Having been quite a few times I can confirm its an eye-opener. The game-changer was getting driven to the door and straight out when you want to leave as the train situation is diabolical (or I always found it so). The stewarding is ridiculously heavy-handed and they seem to just let everything go for a bit and then their pre-set timer goes off and they turf a few out.

I think this 'transfer window' thing has taken them all by surprise.

BDCR gets a lot of abuse but providing he's a squad player, I think he has value; with a bit of energy late in games. I think he's a decent player. Whether RVN really rates him is what will matter.

Its a bit of a slog in a what is a long match and both players will have their periods of dominance you'd think, but both like to impose themselves on matches so I think whoever starts strongly will go on to win. Regardless of that, I'm just looking forward to it and hope to see a really high standard and a real showcase of what they can do.

The subs have been baffling, but the honest truth is that if we swapped keepers, we'd be 3 nil up.

Knopfler got his money for nothing and his chicks for free. He seemed happy enough.

Fatawu is in a decent enough position there; but what the 3 centre mids are doing is absolutely beyond me. Its like zonal marking but with three players allocated to a tiny area with no oppo players in it. Its so so bad.

Appeared to me that we didn't really bother defending out wide; probably the players sub-consciously assuming/having learnt that our full backs are terrible. We had loads of players in the middle quite a lot; they just then gave up when the ball did come central and prepared to take the kick off.
