Small club mentality ain’t it, Taking a step back, I suppose they’re a bit like us in that Villa that they absolutely despise, have a bigger rival in blues ( see Forest v Derby for us) so naturally over the years it’s been Mansfield, Burton, Chesterfield and Notts County for them as opposed to Tottenham, Wolves and Villa for us Now we’re playing each other again they’ve suddenly remembered how close in proximity we are to each other and all the fans that weren’t about when we took 6000 there to probably keep them afloat, have now thrown their Liverpool and United tops away to ‘Live and Die in this town’ . They used to sell our old club kit in their club shop and haven’t won anything significant in 39 years, we’ve won it all and they’ve won f@ck all. Take the geography out of it, as two comparable football clubs there’s no contest. -

We’ll do these today, confidence will be high and all the lads will be talking about how we’ve got to keep winning to achieve our goals, we’ll then lose convincingly to Wrexham in midweek and draw 1-1 with Oxford at home to leave us in the same place 😆 And in years to come people will look back and go ‘that QPR Spanish Bloke Marti we had, he beat Derby and Cov away that year’ -
Ward Pantsil Faes Coady Mills Bertrand Lingard Soumare Beckford Kermogant Ayew First season ticket in 2006 so never had the displeasure of watching Wise ‘play’ for us

Random players I’ve picked out here I know 😆 but when you think in recent years that the likes of Ashley Barnes, Luke Ayling and Grant Hanley have played in the premier league recently then for some of these lads the premier league should be a minimum ambition. The likes of Page, Monga, Nelson could easily play for 5+ years if they get the right move and a bit of luck along the way.
-
The lad is 17! Loved his cameo last night driving forwards and keeping the ball from Derby midfielder’s that have 10-11 years on him - a supreme young talent! A midfield of Skipp, JJ and Page next season could be an incredibly energetic, fluid and exciting with BDR, Braybrooke and Cartwright/Alves all in the picture too potentially if the second half’s of the season go to plan
-
Seems to have nailed the art of smashing into someone without conceding a free kick or getting booked! Great to see as a fan I thought he was done here like 95% of people did, fair play to the lad for taking his opportunity and with that and the run of games you can see the confidence coming back into his game - the next step in my view for him is to try and break the lines more with his passes into JJ/BDR or the space behind for the wingers to run into Well in Skippy!
-
Giving me Harvey Barnes vibes when he was ripping it up at MK Dons and Barnsley - It’s really exciting to see him getting regular minutes and the consistent performances to go with it With Winks and Soumare leaving in the next 6 months there’s a massive opportunity for him to come back in Jan or August and cement his place in the squad 🤞🏻🦊
-
Played well tonight against Brereton-Diaz, 2 good games against Derby this season, looking forward to tricking them into buying him in 12 months time
-
We really missed Faes today. Nelson isn’t the answer… 👀🦊

Which players would you take back to the Premier League?

The only player is the one we don’t own.. He’s also the only positive from the season A rotten club with no squad value. -

I wasn’t going to go but now seeing that watered down Chang’s only going to be a fiver in the concourse I’m so tempted!! -
That is an opinion, let’s get Faes back in to let the ball bounce and throw his hands up Nelson every day of the week, the reality of playing younger players is they’re inconsistent, if they weren’t they wouldn’t be at a team 12th in the Championship they’d be in the Prem Back Ben Nelson all the way 🦊
-
Was he not the answer against Boro, Derby, Ipswich then when we’ve looked more solid and secure? I might be wrong but I didn’t see you on here telling everyone that he weren’t the answer then? One poor game yesterday and he’s done 🤣

Fickle Leicester fans in a nutshell right here

Epitomises the Leicester City we’ve found hard to support in the last 18 months Arrogant, overpaid and goes missing in big moments/for large spells. Hopefully today’s the start of Marti getting a grip on some of these & freezing them out/getting them off the books, give the fans a side they can relate to and support for 90 minutes every game! Skipp’s time to make that CM his own, today was a fantastic start!

Some useful pointers for today: Derby last trophy - 50 years ago Have they been champions of England? Yes back in 1975

Don’t forget that he hosted a lock down party before West Ham away during lockdown that completely derailed our season ( when we were chasing champions league) Drain the swamp, I remember his debut against Tottenham NINE years ago and his progression has been pathetic! Infuriates me that someone with the disruptive off the field behaviour like his still represents our club, but under Aiyawatt it’s not surprising.
