Not to go over old ground or anything but the only reason we wern't in the bottom 3 was because Palace, Wolves and Everton barely had a win between them. The bulk of Cooper's pts were against fellow fodder like Ipswich and Saints and even they were scraped. Sacking him was right, appointing RVN was wrong

The story with Lennon was that they doubled his wages when he would have signed for the same money. Fact was, the club changed and he wanted to leave regardless.

Frying pans and fires. Given the state we're in, I wouldn't be surprised if we're discussing wage deferrals by next May.

Love to hand over a Pearson paying for a cardboard burger outside.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

Probably sell the u18s to Bodd Toelhy Investments to raise the cash. -
Another faceless nobody. No-one knows what he does or who he's accountable to....the second row of the directors box is full of these pencil-necked turds.

Am I being too pessimistic for the new season?
iancognito replied to SkidsFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Off the pitch we're an utter shambles, far more than the average KPFCer will admit but its hard to judge anything on the pitch til we see squad changes and obviously a new manager. If we sell 4 or 5 the squad that was untouchable for most of 23/24 we won't be as untouchable as people think. I'm dreading the season but I was before Maresca came in too. -
Was just about to say this. A lot of realities will hit home this season

You won't get 5p out of those tightwads

Ruud Van Nistelrooy - Sacked - Official
iancognito replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yeah, but the payment doesnt have to arrive in his bank account with immediate effect. 3-5 working days on a slow bacs transfer. And if Rudkin sent the p45 by fax he won't get it in time anyway -
Match Day Ticket Prices – A Step in the Right Direction!
iancognito replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
The pricing for kids is better. You won't get many adults rocking up on the day to watch second tier dirge for £44. -
Nah, just makes more room for Wrexham and I guarantee Tom Brady's Birmingham and Frank Lampard's Cov will be the apple of David Prutton's eye too this season.

A year ago, no way. Right now, we're a basket case of a club, a bad managerial decision away from successive relegations and likely to lose a lot of our remaining assets in the next month. So am I wildly enthusiastic? No. But "we are where we are". We need someone to instill defensive stability - Dyche. Create a siege mentality of us against them - Dyche. And teach players to grind out scrappy results - Dyche.

Its 6m less than we paid for him during which time he's won a trophy, played in Europe and now captains his country.

Lets be honest, never mind a fire sale, you could put Daka and Soumare in the end of season concourse sale and not shift them. It's not just the book values on these guys, it's the wages. Look at the likes of Ward, Vestergaard, Praet, Choudhary and others in the past few years. Even when clubs come in for them they can't agree terms. I remember we agreed to sell Iversen at one point and someone like Wednesday or Derby "expressed genuine shock" at the player's demands.

The last time we appointed a manager to please the fanbase we brought in Ian Holloway. That's the very last thing to consider when we're ticking boxes.

You can't just pass off that run as "I know we had a terrible run.....but" as if it was a month of poor results or an unlucky streak. It was the worst run in ours and top flight history. It may never be beaten for shitness. Take off the Ipswich and Saints games where we turned up after relegation, he inherited a team low on confidence needing an attitude adjustment and turned them into abject losers with no style or pattern of play evident and that conceded goals with predictable ease for 4 months. We didn't hire him to fire him, we hired him believing he was an undiscovered managerial talent, made a horrendous error and got David Van Pleatelrooy.

Right-ho. Wish I could be a loyal servant like you. Seen the good times, seen the bad. It hasn't clouded my judgement on when a man is out of his depth and doing an appalling job. You'd think out of respect for his dad, who, you're right is spinning in his grave, he'd ask for help rather than being a total ostrich about the whole situation and blanking the supporters.

LCFC - Family Night Football memories/photos?
iancognito replied to Ryanlcfc3's topic in Leicester City Forum
And thats how it should be now. Get the u18s or PL2 whatever its called used to playing in front of bigger crowds, get kids who cant afford or cant get STs in for a fiver and keep them connected to the club. -
Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")
iancognito replied to Tuna's topic in Transfer Talk
Should. He was a proven performer at that level. The other options are inconsistent - McAteer, Old - Ayew, BDR or untried/unproven Monga /Evans. We're not sure what condition Abdul will be in either so Id keep him for at least next season. -
He hasnt shipped his family to Leicester so that won't matter

Why not just remove clubs that are in Europe and replace them with 6 from the Conference? Moaning shits. Top clubs were given bigger squads, extra subs and bench places, replays removed, the league cup final brought forward to February and no penalties for playing weakened teams yet STILL get concessions. **** em.
