Love Kingy but these workshy slackers need a disciplinarian who demands more from them not a mate from the training ground. Would hate his playing career to be overshadowed by this team lumping him with a relegation. As much as MC hasn't shown any tactical or coaching nous to get more from the squad, I'm just as annoyed at the players for having ZERO personal pride. You can see it's rubbing off on the academy and the likes of JJ who must wonder what ladder they walked under to end up playing with Thomas, Okoli and Ayew every week.

This team hasn't got a prayer of the play-offs. Without significant changes to the squad in this window we're mid-table at best, probably lower after the deduction kicks in. Top isn't adding more reds to the balance sheet by sacking Cifuentes & co. Starting to appear like he was brought in to to keep us afloat and do just enough to ensure we go again next season, deduction free.

This needs to be in the new songs thread, love that

An owner who has asset stripped the club over 4 seasons, under invested in the playing staff, appointed yes men and nodding lackeys in the boardroom, who in turn have had no accountability for their dire recruitment and financial decisions that have led to us having utter dross on the pitch that don't care if they win lose or draw.

The only thing yesterday was reacting to (the aggressive guy) and walking out. If he's kicking off at you get the phone out and video it. Stick it on socials and show everyone who's in the wrong. By walking out it doesn't look like a show of solidarity it looks petulant. Easy to say it afterwards but these KPFC babies act like they're in the right and were being personally abused.
-
He records and types stuff whilst he's walking down Raw Dykes so probably.

The 'section' isnt all UFS to be fair. People may join in but they're not minions. And if anyone goes on about negativity in the ground they may as well include themselves in it if they're abusing different parts of the fanbase.

***edited*** Was the walk out planned or a response to the arrests?

I'd balance any praise for the win with the standard of the opposition. Easily the worst Derby side I've seen down here.

I think we're seeing now exactly what that helicopter crash meant for this club. Aiyawatt doesn't have desire or the nous of someone like a Mandaric to arrest the decline. He's never here, has appointed inexperienced non-football people to intervene and doesn't have the cash to rebuild. The worst it's been? Definitely. And we ain't hit the bottom yet.

James and Nelson aside, this entire team can fvck off. Their half assed efforts disgrace themselves and the club. -

I get that he's hopeless but would it have hurt to bring him on for Skipp instead of Hamza late on? Put two players up front and pretend we needed to get something from the game? Give players like Monga and Abdul another target instead of the 35 year old has-been? You have a seven-man bench so you have options. Why have attacking options if you dont use them when you need a goal? If he's that bad put Evans or anotger academy kid there. -
Takes a lot to step into Lurch's shoes and make him look like Prime Baresi.
-
Game by game you see him ranting on the touchline like they're going against his well-laid plans but no-one has seen the plans be anything different than slow paced build up, aimless passing/high ball to Ayew, lose it - repeat. We're not a possession team - because we can't pass well enough. We're not a pressing team - because we have no mobilty or organisation. We're not a counter-attacking team - because there's no-one worse than us at soaking up pressure or breaking away. We're a poor side but 90% of this shockingly low-grade league is poor. I just don't see Cifuentes getting that extra few % out of players that all good managers do to get the bang average rubbish they're managing into the top 6

TBF most writers and pundits speak about her as one of the better chief execs out there and fact that Vardy was gushing about her when she quitbis an indication she was more of a positive influence than bad. Since she left the two biggest decisions? BC Game are back and the payroll was deferred at short notice. Says a lot.

Not sure we need a new Top's Crap thread. We know. There's about 4 174-page character assassinations of the nepo baby already.

We are nowhere near 29k, it's been mentioned elsewhere in various threads. The padded seats in the West Stand are half empty, family stand was barely ¾ full against Sheff Utd at the start of the game (and after half an hour most of the lettering in the seats was visible). There's gaps everywhere and on the times when the away fans haven't taken the full allocation, we're still calling the attendance 29k. Rubbish.

Let me correct you on this Coops. No-one could give a shit about your eyes or who you managed. If that was an issue Nottingham-born Pearson and Forest Ledge O'Neill would have lasted half a season too. You were disliked because your football was appalling, we scraped wins against relegation fodder with 10 men, we were conceding 30 shots a game and you dropped Fatawu, Mavididi and Ricardo in favour of Ayew, Reid and Justin.
-
His biggest problem all season has been squad depth - none of his subs ever work, the players coming on aren't doing what they need to do or aren't experienced enough to do so and he can't affect games. At 3-0 up we had a bit more leeway today and getting an hour's performance instead of a half is an improvement.

Skipp my MOTM - made two crucial blocks in the area and knitted everything together. He looks a completely different player without Winks or Soymary in his way. -

Can't be any worse than the guy on Sky. Missed two yellows in 2 mins and came up with the bizarre idea they were from an incident 5 mins earlier. The squad depth on commentators at this level is as bad as the players. -

Most comfortable first 45 we've had all season, even more so than Derby IMO. Was expecting a bit more from these at home. -

When you consider a year ago Cooper had just fielded our first squad without an academy player in it in about a decade -
It is awful. The finishing, the defending, the "patterns" of play, the unfit owners, the EFL governance running the thing like a home made lemonade stall. The competitiveness and unpredictability isn't a selling point, it shows how bang average the standard is. Even when we ran away with is under Maresca in those first 3 or 4 months, there were half a dozen games where we should have lost but the strikers we faced missed sitters, open goals and one on ones. It really isn't, classic recency bias. I don't know what recruitment has been better, the same Premier League has-beens and lower league never-will-be's still ply their trade in the Championship. The 90s with all those classic play off finals was a golden era for this league. The Sunderlands, Blackburns, Pompeys etc of that era would walk this league now just as they did then.

Wow. Clueless is an understatement.

I feel repulsed that we have people like that in our fan base.
