Let's hope so eh!

I think his performances for us and Belgium this season are enough to put anyone with half a brain off!

He'd have more chance of hiding behind them than Susan perhaps?

Who'd want him?

QPR (H) - FA Cup 3rd Round (11th Jan, 2pm)

Skipp instead of Soumare perhaps? Not worth risking him for this meaningless affair compared to potential survival. -
He may as well have stayed here where RVN could at least evaluate him. What a ridiculous place to send him in the first place!
-
It was quite reasonable until you said he should be at left back because he's even worse there, a complete liability! Not only is he persistently out of position looking confused as if he's in a dream, when he does try to move up the pitch, he constantly has to move inside which Premier League defenders recognise almost instantly. Yet, there was a time a few years ago before his terrible injuries that I too thought he was very decent on the left and he was on the cusp of being picked for England. However, those days are well gone and sadly we are left with a shell of a player. He's supposedly a very genuine professional and by all accounts, a very decent and dedicated individual which, compared to perhaps some other players we've had, makes it quite tragic. Undoubtedly injuries have sadly taken their toll but I believe the main effect has been in his head. To me he's a player who's confidence is shot and he needs help. He plays in fear. Had Ruud got an alternative right back he needs a spell out of the limelight. I don't pretend to know understand the work of a sports psychologist and how successful they can be but poor JJ is crying out for one just imo.

I remember seeing Emanuelle in a film about 50yrs ago, is this a relative? Looked good then. -

So has Buonanotte! Ayew was shocking against Wolves, he ponderous and a liability when trying to defend. Buonanotte is full of energy, fiesta against the opposition snapping at their heels, technically very good and can pass as well as score. Already a better player than Ayew will have ever been. -
Yes indeed, it seemed quite clear that Edouard would be staying and not freeing up a squad place. Surely it has to be him to start against QPR for match fitness if nothing else with Daka coming on in the second half perhaps. Also Okoli, Skipp, Alves, Thomas plus any right back youth alternative? In fact blood some kids to add interest in an otherwise going through the motions game.

Can they just send him back in January? Are there likely to be large financial implications? -
Realistic right backs we could sign in January

You've just rearranged the Christmas scrabble board haven't you hoping for a big score? -
Whilst I whole heartedly agree regarding Soumare, it's probably not a coincidence that he's being deployed in the role he was so successful in at Lille, previous managers haven't had the brains to utilise him there!

We need quite a few but not only is there the question of money but also the spectre of FFP no doubt still hovers somewhere in the background. Therefore we're clearly not going to be going mad and therefore I think it's going to be about prioritising. We may be leaking goals I don't think that's in the main been down to our centre halves in the last few games. For some we had a makeshift midfield which offered little protection. However, it's that right flank imo that has been causing problems all season. If Ricardo and Fatawu had been available and firing until Ruud it may have been different but by the time they get fit our fate could be confirmed without replacements I think personally 🤔.
-
Replacement for JJ is surely the priority because splashing out 25m on yet another centre half! Vestergaard, Coady and Okoli are decent enough. Priority is the right flank, both fullback and winger. If Vardy get injured we're stuffed too!

Fan Zone Trial Begins At King Power Stadium

Sounds brilliant, did they have the inflatable cock and balls? -
Instead of an ageing 30yrs old Huge Memba from PSG, why don't we go for the up and coming rising 20yrs old star Ivor Biggun from FC Longa Donga?
-
Very interesting, but what a shame, why would he want it that way, it makes no sense? Whilst not necessarily a huge money earner compared to their other business empire, the right transfer and scouting, the right board (who should also have to continually prove their) and his almost ruthless stewardship of the same, like his father, would potentially be a lot more successful, profitable and less hassle. The allowing the club to get in such mess with FFP on it's own shows gross incompetence for which heads should roll! I can't see Vichai having to put up with that!
-
Absolutely shocking. Unintelligent runs and poor finishing. Championship standard at best. We sent a better player to Stoke!
-
Mister Sitter, what a useless tosser!
-
All things considered, can't say I'm disappointed in that. The fight and effort have certainly been there.
