"Our primary concern is the safety and security of our passengers". So... if you can make your own way there, we'd like to give this a pass. Stay safe!

If he could pass, tackle and head, he'd be a monster!

It would be nice to know what Jeff Lynne actually does think about us.

This kind of thing is annoying. On top of their outrageous wages, clubs doing stuff like this. Surely he can afford to pay himself. Similar thing with Luis Diaz recently. When his father was released Liverpool flew his family over here. He didn't. Would have been much nicer to know your son had paid to fly you over, especially as he can easily afford it.

I see through your plan, pretending you don't know why they're there.

Weirdly he's on Celebrity Antiques Roadshow right now. I guess the BBC asked his family if they minded it being broadcast. Fair play to them... remember the memories.

Not going to die? You gave him a cigarette!!!!!!

Probably. Help if you can, but the slightest hint of aggression, step away and call the people who are better equipped. I believe even they can choose to not help someone who is overly aggressive, but don't quote me. It's very difficult to help someone who doesn't want to be helped. I mentioned earlier that I've been threatened with violence when trying to help someone, but I haven't let that stop me from helping people since, but I'm more wary and wise to situations now. Take a while to suss the situation. If they do need immediate help, then they're probably in no state to fight.

There's also the possibility of being attacked. It happens to paramedics and firemen, who are clearly there to help them. I've had it happen to me too. Not saying you shouldn't get involved, but there's always that risk, which will moderate people's response.

I'm sure that, like myself, you don't mind who we get so long as there are sex noises.

He has been poor recently. However... That through ball to KDH for the winning goal...

If there's one thing I'd like in January it's a striker. Except no club is going to sell an in form striker mid-season

They are indeed. So you're basically saying, because they are following the predicted pattern so far it will continue, but we've missed the boat, so they'll catch us? (I'm not saying you are; I'm querying this as it's one way of reading it.) I have a different hypothesis. Having started so well, other teams have seen they need to up their game against us and which kind tactics work against us. With Leeds and Southampton having had poor starts, after 5-6 games, teams have maybe thought, "these are nothing special" and been caught out as they finally start gelling. Of course, it's not as simple as that. If football management was simple we'd all be doing it (though we all seem to do it in our heads ). I apologise for saying you've had a mare. It was because of your, as I've said previously, general high quality of insight that I noticed this. (Posts 1-1000 fair, 1001-2000 significant improvement, 2000+ generally impeccable (which is probably an oxymoron ))

People need to worship something and in an increasingly godless society, celebs is what a lot of people turn to. Other alternatives are money, cars, careers, themselves and of course, the reason we're here, sports teams.

December's fixtures...Us/Ipswich/Leeds.

I'm hoping that both Ipswich and Leeds come away with 0 pts from their match against each other. -
Just noticed that this thread was started 21 months ago, almost two years. It's more than a blip in the economy and that next to nothing has been done about it (at least, successfully) is criminal.

I'll leave that to JV1, he's hilarious.
