Jeff Shi's a willy puller. Can't say I agree with this £25 season card fee either. Robbing gits. How will it stop people sharing tickets any way? Surely a screenshot of the barcode/QR code will work just as well on the scanners?

I hope Man Utd get battered 10-0.

Disney have started doing it too. Their cheapest sub now has adverts. People have been paying through the nose for Sky with adverts over the years so I guess they look at that and want a piece of it. It'll just push more people to download films/shows and get dodgy Firesticks.

Yeah I was thinking he must have strung three sentences together and they were stunned.

It's disgraceful quite frankly. We're the only PL club to raise prices every year since 2018. They've come out with the bullshit that they are benchmarking it against other clubs our size, yet we're the 4th most expensive in the league and the most expensive outside of London. They're full of shit and it's really upset people this time. They thought they could get away with it again but a rise of 17% is too much for people to bear. There are families out there who can't afford to go any more when it's the only regular time they get to see each other. Same with groups of mates, and it's heartbreaking to see pure greed breaking up traditions built over years or even generations. What makes it worse is it's all for an extra £3m roughly, which is neither here nor there in terms of revenue, and immediately after all PL clubs got an unexpected £5m they never budgeted for thanks to the shared parachute payments. Jeff Shi, the Chairman and face of the owners Fosun in Wolverhampton has gotten a ton of shit already and will get even more in the next few weeks. He also made some comments in the local paper along the lines of "if you want regular European games and fighting for trophies then maybe Wolves isn't the club for you". Imagine saying that to the supporter base! Utter ****. I genuinely hope the renewal take up plummets this season. Who knows if it is a calculated move by the club to get more day trippers and match day tickets sold, as they generally spend more in the stadium and club shop. But you are dicing with danger alienating the core fan base who have been going for years. A mate wrote this piece on it which hits the nail on the head: https://oscillatingwildly.substack.com/p/jeff-the-tone-deaf

Yeah I suppose. There needs to be a ranking points system to make it legitimate.

It should be considered a major really. You play against every one of the best players in the world in a league format. You don't get to play them all at any other tournament. Reminds me a bit of the snooker Masters which is a top 16 only event.

WTAF. Did they ever watch Birmingham play is my question?

Neither were ultimately good enough for the Prem though.

Thing is, other than those two I mentioned the rest of our transfers that year were decidedly average. Maybe Willy Boly aside. The big key was ultimately Nuno and how he got the team playing.

🤮 One of the most dislikeable and arrogant group of players, manager and fans out there? No thanks.

It was. I thought he was going to leave his chip shorter than he did. It was a good up and down birdie to take the win.

That's over egging the pudding. We got two highly rated young players from CL teams. Ruben Neves was the big one, having captained Porto in the Champions League at a young age, but he still wasn't a regular starter for Porto. Diogo Jota was sent out on loan by Atletico Madrid before he came to us and was just a good young player with potential. Jimenez wasn't any kind of star outside of Mexico and didn't have a great goal record at Benfica, plus we didn't sign him until we got promoted the season after any way. Plus you didn't go complaining to the PL and EFL and tweeting how unfair it was unlike Radrizzani at Leeds.
-
I'd take the one on the right every day. The crying pricks. I still remember them complaining to the league when we got promoted after the takeover and we started using Mendes to get us players.
-
Tell me about it. These last couple of weeks have been brutal with so many close calls and late goals ruining big payouts.
-
His take-away drill every shot gets annoying, but at least it's not as bad as Harmon and his endless waggles.

I'm just waiting for Atletico to beat Osasuna for £700 and Osasuna score first.... And to rub salt in I had another acca with Osasuna ready as the freeze that would have been an auto £400 if it wasn't for Viktoria Berlin conceding as above. My bad luck is absolutely unreal recently.
-
And again FFS. Unreal. I was literally thinking I'll cash out, and thought nah I'll let this one run and cash out once they've won.

It was a poor challenge but accidental and not really excessive force or anything. You see other tackles that go over the top of the ball and don't get reds for them.
