I just looked up the XG and can't believe Leeds had a higher XG than City. Is everyone on here who is saying we should have won 4-0 talking bollox or is XG just a pile of steaming crap?

I thought Patson's overall performance was very good last night, and he was really unlucky with the offside call, but that missed sitter looks like such an utter howler, because the ball goes off in a direction no one would anticipate, as if he was wearing boots shaped like a 50p piece.

Mate, we've stayed up in the Prem from what was widely considered to be an impossible position, then we've won the league when the stars aligned at 5,000-1, then we've won the cup after a long shot worldie and a wafer thin VAR devision. In karma terms, we are still due for a seagull to shit into Patson's eye as he runs up to take a penalty, and for KDH to be hit on the ankle by a meteorite as the goal gapes on a counter-attack.

I think, at the very least, QPR need to put their exercise books down the back of their shorts, because we are due to administer a paddling.

My review:

The disallowed goal. Either the officials didn't see who touched the ball or they don't know the rules. Ricardo being booked for having the temerity to make a fair tackle (and you could see afterwards he pulled out of a couple of tackles and also that Dan James tried to get him sent off with a second yellow at the end). Pawson let Gnonto away with ankle rapping tackles until he went off. Leeds were fouling all over 1st half and didn't get a booking til near the end if the half. Leeds wrestling Faes in the box at set pieces because they couldn't handle him with theor zonal marking. That tackle on Kasey near the end was the kind you have seen reds given for. Suggesting there was time wasting, then adding only five minutes in a game where there were 4 goals, quite a few fouls causing treatment, and a ton of subs. Minus 58 million out of ten, Pawson.

Get the Monks back in, our luck stinks. So many chances, and unlucky with shit reffing, and deflected goals. Again.

Agree we need a bit more going forward from the wingers. But the work they have put in going back is immense.

There's going to be a lot of sentimental stuff about Hodgson following this. Fair play - a lifetime in the game, and he did well at Fulham and stabilised Palace and returned last year to steady them However, his stewardship of England was woeful.
