Well, the mood in this thread aint good, is it? I suppose, at least we've maybe stopped these "how do you want to win the league?" hubris threads, for a bit
-
And not that it made a difference, but playing 2 minutes of added on time at the end of the first half, when the Millwall lad who injured his shoulder was on the turf for 4 minutes, was a really confusing choice.
-
Gut punch. Didn't turn up til we were behind and allowed Millwall to stifle and then bully us, until a few late actual attacks. Work cut out to improve enough to go up, now.
-
I know one goal would be nice, but we need to score two, because this ref and his team carry a massive risk of making themselves the main characters. They have been fairly poor.
-
Is the Milwall 5 freakushly massive or are the rest of them aged 9?

I think Wilf is playing (and coming off later) so often because they are still trying to get him match fit. You could see he was struggling with keeping up before he came off, last time out.

Calling them "Partick", unless on the wind up, is a casus belli to Jags fans Ok, all is forgiven, I'll put my belli away

Dude, I've lived in Glasgow for nearly 30 years and congratulations - this made me laugh. I've worked with, bevvied with and have got to know extreme bigots of both sides, the kind who wouldn't let their kids marry "one of them", and who nurture a thousand other petty hatreds of the other lot, and they, too, would laugh at the relationship being described as friendly and colourful and about social awareness. Bravo.
-
If you don't put them away when you are peppering their goal and your opponents haven't had a shot, exactly this sort of thing can happen.
-
Cantwell is about 4 stone wet through, such a bruiser.
-
I stand corrected. Still. A bit shouty.
-
You can be entertained without street fights, domestic abuse and sectarian chanting. Be better than this.
-
Bill Leslie loves a shout don't he? Proper yawping.
-
That's pretty woeful.

There was relative peace whilst Rangers were in the lower leagues. Domestic violence statistics improved. All poluce leave is cancelled for these games. This was Glasgow last night, police trying to stop football fan related disorder. If you think the police (a lot of whom are also, err, "staunch") can deal with the fall out from this fixture, I have a bridge to sell you.
-
It's because a bad tempered OF game can result in large scale civil disorder. As I've posted in this thread before, there was a lot of disorder after the 1999 game. Those on the pitch, including the officials, hold a great degree of responsibility. And that's before you get to all the domestic abuse that has been catalogued as occurring around these games. Which is why they should scrap the fixture.

If I didn't live in the blast zone, I would be "Giant Meteorite"...

Hello, good afternoon and welcome to BigotFest '24. The hate crime hotline will be buzzing hot this afternoon. There is a lot to love about Glasgow, but not this. FTOF.

The pull down of JJ in the box was a definite penalty, if the ref had been bothered to observe it. Likewise the double arms around Vardy tackle as he made a break was a clear and very obvious foul and at least a yellow, maybe more. -

RIP the rating for Mads -
Running past the ball on the six yard line instead of banging it in during the chaos was quite the manoeuvre But lovely assist.

Watching online from hundreds of miles away, the 66th minute was impressive and watching Top respond to it was fairly emotional.

That ref was decidedly incorrect, weren't he
