  5. Not a fan of motorcyclists. The majority, and no means ALL, drive like utter cretins and put themselves and others in danger.
  6. Been there done that. I'm a decent negotiator myself and can usually crack things like this but they have brought out all the excuses under the sun. We had offer accepted on the 12 of Jan....
  7. Trying to get the estate agent to agree on a completion date to buy a house. Him and the vendor are dilly dallying. They know we love the house so I can hardly threaten to pull out but any tips on how to get them to hurry up....
  8. I like the SQ5 i think its called, not just S line model but the one with some serious guff under the bonnet. Quick for a 4x4. On the subject of buying new cars outright I would never buy one new, I would always buy a demo. New cars depreciate so fast in the first 6 months of ownership. A demo with 500 miles on the clock will be as good as new. If you are leasing though it can work out much cheaper. You can get a new car with say a £5-7k deposit say an A3, golf, 1 series type) brand new for between £150-200 a month. you never have to MOT, or pay for a service and if you give it back after 36 months mileage dependent you probably wont have to pay for any new brakes, tyres etc.
  9. Looking for someone to quote me on some fitted wardrobes for my new gaff. I want a fitted wardrobe one side of the chimney breast (hehe) and a fitted chest of drawers on the other. Has anyone had this done and what kind of £££. I know it will vary on the size but need a good Joiner recommending please.
  10. 30 mins left of work, couple of hrs working from home tomorrow am. Heathrow in the afternoon - staying over to catch the 11.20am to New York JFK with BA, a week there including seeing New York Nicks and the usual tourist stuff, then come back to moving house to Burbage the first week of May Anyone who lives in burbage give me a shout - moving to Love Lane just off Grove Rd.
  11. Instead of jamie vardy's having a party we need to sing ''Jamie Vardy when's your party!''
  12. Sounds like they've found it Press conf within an hour
  13. they are never going to find this plane it could be bladdy anywhere
  14. if it had crashed, would mobile phone devices switch off? Reading about relatives ringing the people on board and it had a dial tone then went to voicemail. which means the phone is still on? Although i'm no expert. how could a phone survive such a big accident? Secondly, the 20 ''electrical geeks'' on board from an American company were working on a project in relation to radar use for the American Army, working on some kind of invisibility cloak thing for planes and missiles to escape radars - now that is fishy, if true.
  15. Teachers
  16. Agreed, mine is up in July so I'll reassess then!
  17. Any clues when the 5s will come out?

  19. Was anyone on the second train back? Ended up getting stopped at Stamford for 45 mins, no one really knew what was happening but there were quite a few coppers, with dogs and filming the train. Guessing some fans got nicked but don't understand the massive delay and the need for Alsatians really
  20. Great atmosphere yesterday, better than I can remember for a long time anyhow. Don't know about anyone else but there seems to be an increasing culture of people going too over the top when celebrating, especially the 18 year old kids etc. I love to go mental but not to the point of throwing myself on the floor and piling on my mates, when marshy scored I got about 6 elbows to the head from some cvnt behind me who thought he was on the tv programme splash and tried to pretty much dive over 3 rows. You don't see many blokes doing that, just the kids but people need to grow up a bit
  21. People who think its acceptable to park their cars badly because of a bit of snow
  22. My other half runs a little business alongside her full time job Www.vice-versacollection.co.uk where she sells second hand designer clothes via ebay and other outlets, her main clients are footballers and agents who want rid of old designer clothes. Also 2.5% of every sale goes to loros and rainbows. So if you have any old good condition designer gear kicking about drop her a line.
  23. Peter Andre, useless cvnt
  24. what is wrong with the bloke
  25. Dan walker is fantastic, must be so hard for him to understand after interviewing him yesterday!! Gutted, a sad loss for football
