Which model was it? If it was the pearl or something then you are probably right. But the Storm/Curve etc are really quick in terms of internet speed. My mate hardly ever gets signal on his IPhone and often complains of slow internet.

Why is that?

It costs me a fiver a month extra for unlimited internet and emails, thats on top of a £20pm contract. I can use it anywhere, doesn't have to be a WIFI area. It works faster in some places rather than others, my lounge and the slug and lettuce in town are both prolific in terms of internet speed.
