Trusting part of a relegation battle to a man who has never coached a professional match before is very on brand for this place.
-
We have a lot of small club mentality supporters. Plus many cannot admit this lot are dragging the club down so need to defend them with ridiculous arguments or try and prove they are more "loyal". Things will crank up. We are going to get worse.

Going to be living off things he wasn't hugely involved in for years whilst avoiding the blame for the decline he was.

Birmingham 2-1 LCFC, post-match thread
Corky replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Expected start to a nasty run of games. The previous two home matches will prove pivotal. -
Think generally across the media our reaction has helped. This is a very tribal sport with one eyed fans claiming conspiracy over anything and everything and I think the lack of outrage towards the authorities and acceptance of our own wrongdoing has been almost welcomed by a media used to pushbacks and arguments.
-
QPR at home will not be on the Friday as they are definitely playing on the Wedenesday before.
-
They have lost one in 39 home league games. Just cannot see us being the second.
-
This proposal for seeding the FA Cup is surely a test for the men's game? A crap idea that again favours the chosen few. Hope it never gets off the ground.
-
We shut them down and hammered them on the break. Remember thinking during the game that we would be horrible to play against- brilliantly coached and unafraid of anyone.
-
Our record against teams around us is hideous, plus one of the positive results at Norwich was against a very different club to now.
-
I'm sure Alex Crook was criticising our supporters around a year ago for putting pressure on the club and the managers for being crap. Turns out we had a point.
-
Which is why I think we should leave any appeals now. We need to just get on with it knowing the outcome.
-
Sussex in a dire situation. Sad for them but gives our survival chances a boost.
-
It appears they wanted 12 points deducted, not 20.
-
I think it is three points for a breach and an extra point for every £6-7 million over. We were apparently going to get a 7 point deduction last season and I believe the losses were around £24 million over? So 6, on that basis, sounds about right.
-
Cannot see us getting any points back, nor should we. It has been acknowledged that we have tried (far too late) to sort ourselves out so can't see any more mitigation. Just get on with sorting ourselves out properly and stop blaming everybody else.
-
Really don't understand this. The only issue is March is the FA Cup 5th round weekend. The 14th and 21st should have been pencilled in and confirmed long ago.
-
We are in this for the long haul. No easy way out here. Can see it getting a lot, lot worse.
-
Coming ever clearer into view.
-
Fully deserved. We are bang on trouble now. Shambolic running of the club has put us on the brink of the third division. Awful.
-
Came across as a great bloke. Made Jim Davidson bearable which is some achievement. RIP JV.
-
It is all ok, Aiyawatt 17th from Top says we will promote next season.
-
9 days on from sacking the manager and we appear to be no closer to knowing who they might want, let alone near to appointing them. It wasn't even as though Cifuentes' demise was swift or unexpected, you could probably trace it back to Blackburn to find when it looked like a real struggle. We really do just appoint, chuck a three year contract out and hope for the best.

Thoroughly underwhelming day. Hope Jim White is enjoying himself, the utter berk.
