  1. Black Country Derby should hopefully be the best viewing.
  2. Bournemouth are a decent side. Not sure why people are surprised. Swansea are shocking and have won 1 in 5 in the division below.
  3. It's not madness considering, as I said, who knows what would have happened. To think that we'd have won, or drawn, just because we've done it before is madness and/or arrogant.
  4. Good luck with that considering we're playing Bristol City.

For me, anybody that scores a cup final goal, especially a winner, is a legend.
  6. Liverpool favourites now surely. They're better than Chelsea. Shame we didn't see that as a semi final so one of Fulham or Middlesbrough got there.
  7. I'm not. What didn't do anything aside from get a penalty. Coventry had already looked threatening and hit the post. It's all hindsight, and nobody knows, but the game never seemed that clear cut. It was similar to Middlesbrough and we lost there with 11 men. But it's killing teams off that concerns me. We seem to be happy with one goal and it's cost us to many times this season already. However if we start doing this in home games, against the lesser teams, then that's when I'll start to worry. We need to ensure we don't lose at Elland Road though.
  8. I remember. At the time I never agreed. The quality of the league isn't great. It would take a massive effort to be relegated again, especially with our squad. On the other hand, I didn't expect to be top of the league with this many points at this stage, but I expected us to be in the top 6. I appreciate Marsca is changing the way we play but any half decent manager should have our squad, with our resources, top 6 minimum.
  9. Pretty weird to say when it's someone breaking the law, especially in this capacity. Panicking and refusing to give a breath test are not the same thing. Also, the amount of times I've been drunk never once have I thought about getting being a steering wheel. Shit move and irresponsible move by anybody who does that. Not sure why people start justifying when it's a footballer. Seperate the footballer from the club you support.
  10. We have been much more successful than them though, I think if they'd have experienced what we have in recent years then their fanbase would be bigger. Their away followings have been good for several years now though. A couple Wednesday fans I know said that Coventry's support was the best they've seen this season, I've seen this on a couple different other clubs forums too now. Not that I'm comparing but it's mad even when you consider what they've been through compared to us over the past decade. See Coventry's goal and how mad their away end went. So different to us now.
  11. Fell asleep at 2-0 At work now, just checked score, didn't expect 6! Said it before but their support seems to have improved massively. Now one of the best fanbases in the division.
  12. Come on Boro! Started well.
  13. I like Winks but once an opposition player turns him he is done for because he's got no pace getting back.
  14. I have loads on mute. Probably easier if I just quit twitter tbh. So easy for people to spread rubbish, I just can't be doing with it.
  15. Mad to think Coventry's support is better than ours now.
  16. We seem to be content on doing this which is a worry.
  17. We had all that first half. A goal, a couple of good chances, Mavididi constantly beating his man (which then tailed off second half but that's a different story).... we were the better team and, for me, that half was one of the best we've produced this season. All of that in a top of the table clash.
  18. It's killing off teams that worries me. Ipswich were poor, regardless of their position in the table, we should have beaten them. I see how Leeds got 4 against them (twice). We had numerous chances without really looking like scoring.
  19. I mean, I agree, but I was comparing clubs and transfer fees not comparing clubs to everyday people. Mike's post about not watching a game because it's a club with lots of money beating another with less money, that can be applied to the last 20 years which was my point.
  20. Alex Ferguson was spending £20m/£30m on players 20 years ago, which is crazy money, but people seem to talk as if it's a new thing. How long ago did Chelsea get their money and start spending, 2003? It's been happening for decades.
  21. Bubble will burst. The other year the "big thing" was China but that soon died off.
  22. I said this the other week. They got a decent draw at Coventry in their long run but aside from that they haven’t played us, WBA, Leeds or Ipswich all away from home. It’s amazing to be unbeaten at any level for that period but I’d be more “scared” if they’d had played a couple good sides in there at least. Their results against Leeds and WBA were both at home.
  23. I’ve got it still. It’s in my collection of City CD’s and DVD’s. Those were the days.
  24. Stuart Maynard new County manager.
  25. Rob Edwards was successful there not to long ago.
