Palace went 8 games without winning at the start of that season, everyone here would have wanted him out.

Claridge is the scorer of two of the most important goals in our history. Always overlooked in conversations but he's a legend for those goals.

Everything went downhill. People refer to Vardy leaving, and what happened this season, but Schmeichel leaving was always the one for me. If he stayed we wouldn't have gone down. Absolute legend and actually a shame he didn't quite reach 500 games as seeing two players reach that would have been incredible.

You seem to have good recruitment in place so no doubt you will add to the squad to make it a bit bigger for the extra European games. Your manager has proven to be good enough. You'll be fine. The lower end of the PL is going to see the likes of Coventry/Hull/Ipswich/Leeds/Forest/Palace. There's plenty of teams that can play in Europe, go deep into Europe, and still have a good domestic campaign (look at Villa, winner of the Europa League plus a top 4 finish). Pleased to see you in Europe as I've never minded you lot. Been through it all too in the last decade but still continue to be one of the best fanbases in the Country. Be interesting to see how you get on.

Both of these fixtures are going to be incredible. And I'm right in thinking the last time you met, in the league, was during Covid so next season will be the first with fans in nearly 15 years.

No, random account BlueTintedLCFC is a highly credible source.

Pleased for County. Not long ago since they were non league. Unbelievable to think it's going to be a League fixture for us.
-
WBA/Wolves is massive, you only have to look at what happened in the Cup game the other season.
-
And the fact he's shit.

Pleased for Hull. They should have just gone up when all the spy stuff started. Middlesbrough had so many chances and were still poor. For Hull to go up is an unbelievable achievement given everything they went through last summer and only just stayed up last season.

At last Daka leaving! I have dreamt of this. Happy bank holiday weekend

They've been sucked in by Le Tissier.

Emery seems such a nice guy as well, I'm pleased for him to have success here. He was ridiculed at Arsenal. What he has achieved with Villa is amazing, especially when you consider they go far into Europe each season and still compete for top 4.

Criminal.

No. Same as Champions League final. First time in years they aren’t free this season.

Mahrez was part of a team that won their first Champions League and a treble. 100% he will be remembered. RE big club. Mahrez was clearly ambitious, nothing wrong with that, I do not have anything against him wanting to join Man City. We finished 12th and 9th after winning the league ffs, no wonder he wanted to move on. It might have been different if we didn't just have one really good season. Vardy could have done the same. He could have moved on and won a whole lot more than he won. Similar to Shearer really, players that could have won more than one league title but were loyal to their club. Nothing wrong with that either. Overall I dunno why people knock Mahrez. He was a massive part of the reason we won the top flight, can't get much better than that.

Ignore court cases, this is how should have been, Hull should have just been promoted as I posted earlier.
-
Southampton were quite rightly punished for breaking rules but they should have just promoted Hull. Middlesbrough had their chance over two legs and were not good enough to beat Southampton. Hull beat Millwall who had finished third so technically won the hardest fixture out of the play offs. If Middlesbrough beat Hull in the final that will feel weird to me

The copy of the "Panic on the streets of London" banner which Man City unveiled was good as they changed the words to "Party". Made me laugh.
-
No way was it better than Rodgers first two seasons. Also consider Rodgers was in the top flight and under Maresca it was the Championship (in which we had the best squad in the division).
-
Arteta done a great job. Arsenal became a joke really and he turned them into one of the best teams in the league again.

Spied on Oxford and lost to them
