There isn't any fight in our fanbase. Too many people just willing to sit and watch the club die (maybe not literally but we are 17th in the third division ffs). A few hundred people boo and then next week everyone is happy again as there's a game to be played. Same thing happens week after week. King Power bought and killed killed the fanbase years ago. They moved onto killing the club after that and are doing a great job.

Oh yeah that I understand. Not that I pay for Sky, I listen on BBC 5 Live, I find it ironic Sky pushing that view all week considering they started this whole mess with money. I don't think Man Utd had a right to outspend every other club, but Ferguson took over Man Utd when they were in the relegation zone and eventually won titles, so for me he somewhat earned the right to spend. Not that I agree with how much they were spending in the end because all we want is a fairer competition where everybody is on the same sort of page, but with how some clubs are bigger than others that clearly would not work. On the other hand, I've always said that's why I admire Wenger so much as he turned Arsenal into Champions without spending as much as what Ferguson was spending. Something needs to happen though as money in the game is ridiculous.

Agreed. Same all the way back with Pearson too as, thankfully, he wanted to come back. I dread to think all the way back then who we'd have gone for if he wanted to stay at Hull.

It's not all they've done though is it. Sham contracts, secret funding, boosting themselves off the books, filed inaccurate accounts... the list goes on. All backed by a state. I couldn't care less who won yesterday but they are a disgrace and done worse than just spent more than the rest of the country. Of course Alex Ferguson was spending loads (look at how much Veron and Ferdinand cost in the early 00's) but at least he sort of earned that right.

Our squad is more than good enough with a decent manager in charge. Should have sacked him weeks ago and appointed a decent manager, similar to what Norwich did with Lambert and ended up winning the league (I know that was only after 3 games but it goes to show what a forward thinking board can do). I still believe we can turn it around and end up top 6, just without Martin. Trouble is I don't trust our board to appoint a decent manager. We haven't had once since Maresca.

Another nothing player that will end up playing 100+ games for us. Criminal.

Could pick 11 fans to play. I genuinely don’t see anything in any of our players. The performances they put out week after week are getting worse, especially goalkeeper, defence and midfield. People chop and change with their predicted line ups on here but these players are getting worse under this manager and his staff.

Blackburn’s history is much stronger than top of League One. They are traditionally a top tier or second tier team, similar to us. They are only a town and very close to one of the biggest clubs in the World.

He’s poor just as I expected, but yet another signing the same people were pleased about because of “experience”.

Our success is down to Nigel Pearson. End of. Without him wanting to come back we’d have just been in this situation much earlier.

Why would you want them to win anything. Ever. I just don't get it. They are cheats and their "success" is built on money. Backed by a state and made a mockery of the sport. Holloway was right, it's too late as it's obvious they were cheating but they should be thrown out. I can't stand them (have you guessed) and never have since they got all this money. It's bad enough going to their place and having to suffer next to their home fans, they're something else. And really deluded; they've always thought everyone is out to get them but in reality nobody cares about them because they're just fake.

I always backed Vardy personally. Go back and check that one. However, that needs to be dropped now. It's okay to criticise a player without the whole "what did you say about Vardy at first". I think after the rubbish we've been through it's fair for fans to criticise. Lots of signings we've made in recent seasons, I criticised at the time, only for someone to call me out and say "give them time" (Skipp as an example). I will be surprised if Bristric will be any good for us. His goalscoring record was poor before us. Even if you do compare signing Vardy at least he knew how to score goals. It shows that we signed another striker that came straight into the team and has scored a couple.

He was World Class at Tottenham. People just never credited him/liked him because of some weird hatred of Tottenham. His goalscoring record at both clubs is phenomenal.

Fair play for asking him this. Martin's reaction is staggering, especially "you've been shit for ages" as if he actually said that. As for so many shots, that does not mean it's attacking football but he genuinely believes it is so we're done for.

That's only 7 games but those games we lost were awful. I can let the Norwich defeat go (given how in form they were) but the rest of the games we're terrible, including the two this season. Oxford, Charlton, Norwich, QPR, Swansea, Burton, Oxford.

Yes as I recall. Typical Marti team could only do it for a half. But a great first half it was and great to be back at Pride Park and winning. Was a good away end too that day. Probably best result of the season regardless of the second half.
