Someone said pretty much the same thing about Vichai years ago on here (not pissing on kids but doing it on the pitch). He doesn't post anymore. Those sections of the fanbase have backed King Power over the club for years. It's too late now sadly, they won't change.
-
Don't forget Barnsley and Huddersfield have already appointed new managers, too.
-
"we sacked the idiot, they had a period of delay before employing another idiot". I think he's talking about Cifuentes and Rowett (with the period of delay being when King was "in charge"). That's what it reads to me. For my opinion, this whole coaching staff should have gone. It is a disgrace they've all played a part in overseeing us relegated to the third tier for only the second time. People defending King purely because he's a hero to them.

Some of these grounds are new to us (or we haven't been for ages) as well so likely to influence how well they sell.

So, what's an elf?
-
Eh? We're much bigger than Bristol City.

What's happening to Eddie Howe in September?
-
Surprised by that after one average season but great move for Iraola, hope he does well there.

I think Bristol City have had backroom changes. Not 100% certain but didn't get appoint a new DOF and then I thought the plan was for Hodgson to move upstairs too but I think he ended up going.

We always seemed to play Cardiff. I'm sure when we played them in play offs we played them in one of the Cup competitions too. I used to hate playing them back then because they had some good players for Championship level.
-
Not saying relegation but I think Wolves could be similar to us. A lot of things change over the summer so a long way to go yet, mind. I don't rate Edwards that highly as a manager, took Luton up from that level but they were well built by Nathan Jones.

Fair play to those who watch Salford regular. Would be very easy to follow either of the bigger Manchester clubs with them right on the doorstep.

24/25 in Premier League.
-
This is why I so wanted Tottenham to go down.
-
Palace went 8 games without winning at the start of that season, everyone here would have wanted him out.
-
Claridge is the scorer of two of the most important goals in our history. Always overlooked in conversations but he's a legend for those goals.

Everything went downhill. People refer to Vardy leaving, and what happened this season, but Schmeichel leaving was always the one for me. If he stayed we wouldn't have gone down. Absolute legend and actually a shame he didn't quite reach 500 games as seeing two players reach that would have been incredible.

You seem to have good recruitment in place so no doubt you will add to the squad to make it a bit bigger for the extra European games. Your manager has proven to be good enough. You'll be fine. The lower end of the PL is going to see the likes of Coventry/Hull/Ipswich/Leeds/Forest/Palace. There's plenty of teams that can play in Europe, go deep into Europe, and still have a good domestic campaign (look at Villa, winner of the Europa League plus a top 4 finish). Pleased to see you in Europe as I've never minded you lot. Been through it all too in the last decade but still continue to be one of the best fanbases in the Country. Be interesting to see how you get on.

Both of these fixtures are going to be incredible. And I'm right in thinking the last time you met, in the league, was during Covid so next season will be the first with fans in nearly 15 years.
