Van Nistelrooy. First time I’ve genuinely not wanted to go, ended up missing loads of games. This season I got bored after the Wrexham game. I’m not convinced with this manager at all.
-
Part of a poor management team. No thanks.
-
I’d have sacked him weeks ago.
-
Theres lots of things that are the issue at this club but the manager is also one of them. He is not good enough. 1 win in 9 is a disgrace, especially considering most of the opposition has been mid table or below. Yet again opposition manager changes formation, ours does fvck all aside from change players like for like.
-
I said post Wrexham he is a mid table manager. I think I was being kind. Same shit every week. Never changes anything aside from like for like. Yet again out thought by an opposition manager. Get him gone.

Exclusive Screening Of Abdul Fatawu Documentary At King Power Stadium

Just screams self indulgent to me. -
Said it before but I didn't go last time we played them because they charged us £36. Ridiculous price. We should be boycotting at £45 but as always people will go.

Exclusive Screening Of Abdul Fatawu Documentary At King Power Stadium

Good grief. -
What's the Dutch approach?
-
I think it's a little harsh. It was mainly a Klopp team but people were talking in the summer of the "transition" and nobody predicted Liverpool to win the league let alone be cruising as they were so early. Don't forget they've also lost Trent who was creative and scored goals too. His loss is bigger than some people thought.
-
Chance of a defeat regardless of the team he put out so he puts a weaker one out and people talk about that. I'm surprised, when needing a win so badly, he didn't go full strength. Especially considering it's a chance of a trophy. It really does test a manager to get out of a rut. Winning things, winning every game, is not as challenging as when you're losing all the time. Be interesting to see how it goes.

Brendan Rodgers Resigns from Celtic
Fox92 replied to Clever Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
Amongst all the Rodgers talk, it's lovely to see Martin O'Neill back. -
Good luck, it's going to be a good seller I imagine considering it's local and we haven't played their since 2017 (2013 in the league) aside from that weird friendly.

Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list

Ohh Mrs Fawlty RIP Prunella. -
It's been a long process but we're finally picking our keys up this afternoon. Our first house. Managed to rent and save and now get a true place of our own.

Blackburn (H) Sat 1 Nov @12:30, pre-match
Fox92 replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
He should be sacked there and then if we lose to Blackburn. -
Why wouldn't you if people above aren't capable of getting rid? Celtic clearly have issues with their board as well but the statement show that they are stronger than ours ever will be.
-
We won't lose as many games as two other clubs (counting Wednesday as down already).
-
And yet we have a promising centre back that can't make the team and a rubbish left full back that's just been given a new contract. One of my issues with him is he keeps playing the same players every week and then people come here and moan about the player(s). Why are they getting picked still? Why can't Nelson get in? Why do I have to watch the same idiots in defence every week. Nothing ever changes. The team, the style..
-
I accept a squad is built over years - sometimes but not always - but it's then the manager to make use out of them. We have four clubs above us currently that had new managers in the summer. Players argument is stupid considering the opposition. Have we got worse players than some of the teams above us? But regardless of players, everything about us is boring and it stems from the manager. Build up play, lack of creativity, all slow or non existent. We have failed to beat Oxford, Portsmouth, Wrexham. But of course I have to be happy with that and our inferior squad compared to these clubs.
-
Where did I call them saviours? They are decent players at this level, that's what I said, and any decent manager would get something out of them. The way we play, the style, all from the manager is pathetic.
-
Name me a team with a better squad that isn't Ipswich (as I do think their squad is better than ours)? I bet you can name a few players from Coventry, or Middlesbrough, but not a whole 11 (or squad). We should be going into games stronger and taking it to the opposition but we don't. Hull employed a new manager, had a transfer embargo, and still look better than us.
-
Can't comment on "away pub" but Norwich is great for pubs. Been plenty of times before and on match day, no colours on mind, had no trouble anywhere.
-
No they wouldn't. A lot of managers, if not all, in this league would love to be able to select Ricardo, Winks, Fatawu, Monga, James, Ramsey, Mavididi... Compared to our opposition our squad is decent and is now underachieving because of this manager. Managers have had much less and achieved more more. You only have to look at Robins achieved at Coventry with nothing. I'm fed up of people making excuses for this manager who does the same thing week in week out. We have won 4 games all season ffs.
-
Just looking on Chelsea's forum again. They have clearly never liked him and a lot, if not all, (still) want him out. I say still because they won the conference league last season but I don't think that has won them over, and why would it, their results are so inconsistent but it seems like it's the performances and style of play which frustrate them more.
