  1. Great signing. Get him straight into the Starting XI to tear up some Championship defences. Another winger and striker now whilst we are at it!
  2. We may have been playing bang average football from Day 1 of this season, but it has still bagged us 5 wins out of 5. Just imagine how we will be when we finally get going. Need a trouncing win to silence the doubters. And that said, when will we actually have a striker scoring league goals this season? Perfect start continues but we can't rely on midfielders forever, Enzo.
  3. But does anyone need a Vardy?
  4. One of our strikers actually scoring will complete my day.
  5. Won't stop him bleeding £140k out of the club every week.
  6. Perhaps rename this topic. Castagne to Fulham? He wants out. Not getting gametime. Still taking the wages. Time to part ways and put the cash towards a desperately-needed striker.
  7. Close thread. Let's all collectively bicker about Nacho's talent and goal-scoring abilities elsewhere.
  8. Opportunity missed. Good signing for Leeds. Desperately need a striker before the window closes. Vardy is about cooked, Daka isn't good enough (and seems like Enzo knows it) and Iheanacho seems certain to be pinched. Could be a long season if we are banking on midfielders scoring all the goals.
  9. This is a good deal for Bologna. He should have been given a fair shot here in the Championship, when he publicly stated he wanted to stay and help send the Foxes back up, only to not get a chance under Maresca. Assuming Bologna buy him next summer, to make a loss less than a year after buying him, says a lot about the ineptitude of the recruitment staff over the last few years (and no, not including the new summer recruits, before any of you jump on that). Hang your already-hung head in shame Rudkin.
  10. If Daka thinks he is too good for this division, then the club should stop dragging their heels (again) and sell him. Just a waste of wages at the moment.
  11. Okay, this transfer was near enough dead with JP set to sign a new deal. Suddenly it might be on, with some clearly overreacting. Is this all because of the rumours surrounding Iheanacho (Crystal Palace) and Daka (Monaco)?
  12. Something just doesn't feel right. Seemed to grind out the wins against Coventry and Huddersfield, but goals just aren't there. Definitely need more signings if we are going to be promoted this season, because this has been poor.
  13. Head turned by rumours linking him with Everton?
  14. The consensus of ITKs seem to suggest that Coady is injured too, apparently.
  15. Today's showing only reinforced the thought in my head that we've signed a great player considering the league we're in. I'm still surprised the move from Tottenham went as easy as it did considering it meant dropping down a tier, maybe Maddison moving the other way sweetened relations between us and Spurs. But I'm not complaining. More of the same for the rest of the season please, Harry. 🙏
  16. He actually looked OK and composed in the first half prior to Coventry applying the late pressure. Then went back to normal in the second half. Hurry back Coady. Or give Souttar a run out... Either will do.
  17. As far as first games go, that was an all-round good performance. Even got some jibes from the away support but he kept his head, one to definitely keep an eye on this season, and be sure that other clubs will be too.
  18. He's injured?
  19. Rental offer? Is he leasehold or something?
  20. I know winning always helps, but hearing 30,000+ voices celebrating and cheering the side on is so much better than goal music and clap banners. The crowd needed to find its voice again after many years of artificial background noise, today proved just that. I mean, they couldn't help but still have the full-time music but it's a start.
  21. As far as first half of the season goes, we have played well. Some of the Maresca football from the back is great on the eye but the odd mistake still creeps in. No-one is putting in a bad performance by any stretch, but we need to be much better and clinical in the final third. More of the same in the second half, plus a goal please.
  22. Not sure if you've heard the atmosphere in the King Power in recent years. Title-winning season aside, the atmosphere has been borderlining on soulless. Don't expect that to change any time soon. And this is without the thought of losing the M69 Derby on Sunday, which is a real possibility.
  23. 1. No, in every sense. The club should have pulled them out of this joke of a tournament. 2. Yes, though I'm not sure what difference it would have made given his incompetence in recent years. 3. Nowhere near enough. The Asia tour still tells me the board have got their priorities back to front. All about the revenue, with minimal preparation. 4. Not really. The community feel and the overall vibe of the supporters feeling like family has been gone for a while now. The club feels more like a business now than it ever has. 5. Not really. Relegation, followed by a poorly-organised preseason centred around an abroad vanity project with a stripped-down squad will not give fans much confidence for the new season. Oh Vichai, I'm sure this isn't the legacy you quite had in mind.
  24. That was a completely wasted 10 days of season preparation. The Asia tour was nothing more than vanity project by the board to generate more revenue overseas. Coventry will really be fancying their chances in a week's time.
