  1. Just like James vs Blackburn.
  2. None of these comments have aged well in the space of two months. Sorry to all I quoted, these were all on the first page after the announcement, that'll teach you to be proactive.
  3. Sean from Enderby maybe?
  4. How many could you squeeze on the roof?
  5. A good player that has been dragged down by the mediocrity around him. Only seems to have the one trick at the moment of cutting inside and trying the classic "Fatawu worldie" but that has been worked out. It's no surprise that he is trying to do more to compensate for the lack of creativity elsewhere, and taking more chances. The offensive stats say it all, both on a club and a league-wide level. It's now the classic case of trying to do too much, and he looks worse for it. Cuts a very frustrated figure, especially yesterday, but least that shows that he cares.
  6. Marti will be the fall guy I'm afraid whilst nothing changes behind the scenes. I feel for him and the AWFUL hand he has been dealt with this squad. Some of his tactics and substitutions have baffled me lately, but at the same time, I don't know what he could do that would make any difference. With a few exceptions, this is our worst squad in many years in terms of actual ability, mentality and work ethic. And they will put Marti Cifuentes out of a job not before long. And no-one will want to take on this job right now. His appointment took me by surprise in the first place anyway, but I hope for his sake that he turns this abysmal form around, and quick.
  7. Then the ever-obliging Leicester City comes to town.
  8. If you honestly think Danny Ward is better than Asmir Begovic based on 45mins of football, then I must say you are an ostrich.
  9. Perfect.
  10. Barely deserved the draw. Utterly painful to watch and all that controversial penalty did was paper over those ginormous cracks. Terrible performance.
  11. You'll be lucky to sell it now. Home games aren't even close to a sell-out now and it will only get worse when they're in form like this.
  12. It took me until the third contestant to work out it was the crossbar challenge.
  13. I think Sheffield Wednesday's away crowd made a point by not coming up until a certain time. I think maybe missing the first 16 minutes for the next 3 home games would make a point, and mark an escalation in our general discontent towards the hierarchy.
  14. What a depressing list. Went for Soumaré, pretty much seen out his entire contract without doing anything positive for the club or improving in any way. If I could deport him today to AC Milan, I'd pay for his one-way flight. This said, Skipp is a terrible signing, and I don't think that will change in the time he has left. But yesterday's performance, on top of many others, put Bouba at the top of my list.
  15. Further proof we should stop buying defenders from Copenhagen.
  16. Reminds me of the pre-match announcer telling us, the paying public, to "get behind the boys". Well, tell those boys, paid countless thousands every week, to give us something to get behind and we will without question. They didn't today. Again. So no, pre-match announcer, I won't. I booed today, and I would do it again.
  17. Definitely developed an over-dependency on Vardy and his mere presence alone. Even his waning years at Leicester possessed enough guile, speed and knowhow to trouble even Premier League defences. May be 38, but he has scored two goals in three appearances for Cremonese in Serie A, more than our current trio who have scored one between them in 14 games in all competitions. Manipulate the maths however we like, who we have now leading the line are not on Vardy's level.
  18. Helps that this is a weekday match, means everyone can just go home after work and stay there... Tempting proposition!
  19. Physically weak, borderline static out of possession, spent more time on the floor than moving for the ball. It is just like having another Daka and playing with 10 men from the kick-off. Send the passenger back to Feyenoord. ❌️ 🛫
  20. I couldn't believe that. Literally watched 90+ minutes of an abysmal performance against a team threatened with relegation, and still happy-clapped them as the players were forced to walk round the pitch. Some of these so called fans are utterly spineless. Edit: Forgot to add my own personal feelings, ranting about the above got in the way. I've been a season ticket holder since 2011. Very nearly cancelled it in the summer, but decided against it as I thought it couldn't possibly get any worse. How naive. This campaign, kept afloat by goalscoring midfielders, has been depressing. I missed three games in a row for wedding-related reasons in one way or another, and I'm honestly not bothered anymore. This season could well be my last, and I may even try a hand at Tigers and see what happens there. This club is no longer becoming worth my time or money if they don't care about me or the fans. In terms of today, as soon as the same side emerged from half time, I couldn't see the afternoon getting any better. No changes in tactics, mentality or personnel, and so that proved to be the downfall today.
  21. Records could be under threat today... EDIT: Jordan James doesn't deserve as low as 4.7 at the time of writing... Got a 6 for sheer effort alone trying to create something unlike the rest of them.
  22. Substituting Jordan James, the only player who looked anything like making something happen today, all whilst still keeping the inept Soumaré on the pitch, did it for me. Uninspiring, demotivating, pathetic. I'm done.
  23. On our current form and standard of football, there is a real possibility.
