West Ham 2-0 KPFC - Post Match Apathy
Bezzanator89 replied to Daggers's topic in Leicester City Forum
West Ham have had a poor season generally, we made them look like Top 6. I used to be show some kind of emotion when we lose, now I just seem to have stopped caring. Away Spurs win aside, 2025 has been a disaster. -

Games like this remind me why so many are selling their season tickets. Appalling across the pitch. -
You can thank Steve Cooper. His management was chaotic, but we at least looked competitive.

Leicester Vs Ipswich- 18th May - Jamie Vardy final game?
Bezzanator89 replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Vardy will know that despite the rising discontent towards the club, he will not be targeted. He will be still be remembered as a legend for all he has done for us for so long. Whilst it will not be the ideal send-off for him, he needs to leave to preserve his legacy. -
Contract extension for Daka to replace Vardy. Step aside JV9, here comes PD9. Wout Faes is made club captain. Mandatory clappers/missiles for every supporter. More dishonesty flags for people to take home. Post Horn Gallop is replaced by the national anthem of Thailand.

Get him gone. And I don't mean just Rudkin. Take RVN with you.

After we are about to lose our sixth consecutive home game without scoring, why should I be bothered? The majority, not all, of the players on the pitch have seemingly given up. But because it's a club I've been watching for the last 14 years, I still care. But there has to be a major overhaul and fast.

5s and 6s all round. Sneaky 7 for Coulibaly, good debut from him. -
Substitutions around 15 minutes late today. Again.

That's a warning...

I'm certainly used to livelier first half action. In our case, that can only be a good thing.

Top, what a load of crap. This has just made things a million times worse for himself. He just doesn't get it. Rather than dissuade people from the protest tomorrow, this will only cause the noises of dissent to grow louder. He has given them absolutely nothing to get behind. Top, talk with your boot, get rid of Rudkin and Whelan. And if you can't see what's happening in front of your eyes, then take yourself out as well.

Seemed strange when I was watching this at the pub. Happe is having the game of his life. Living the dream by leading against the defending champions who make in a week, what takes him several months to scrap for at the lower levels. With room to spare. The ref blows his whistle for some much needed respite and celebration for just being ahead at this point. Happe, cold and wet, just wants to run into the dressing room with his weary team-mates, have some high-fives, warm up a little, and enjoy the moment. "Naaaaah, fark that.", said the BBC. "Let's catch him on the way back, whoever his name is. The rest of the team can just relay any messages on that he missed. Let's pretend we know his name whilst interviewing him by looking at the teamsheet so we look relatable, only to forget said name straight afterwards. Get her to ask some inane questions with some buzzwords, then let him go with a couple of minutes of Half Time left. He can dry off another time. Time is money." Yup, way to go and kill his buzz, BBC. And ours.

Jordan Ayew, Conor Coady, Patson Daka, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Odsonne Edouard, Wout Faes, James Justin, Stephy Mavididi, Kasey McAteer, Oliver Skipp, Luke Thomas, Jannik Vestergaard, Danny Ward. So many reasons why this squad is absolutely honking right now. 13 reasons. Maybe that number is a sign.
-
Oof. That is absolute gash, don't forget that we will get back Hamza, who is on that ridiculously long contract. Who would bet against back to back relegations right now?
-
This is an absolute no-brainer. Sell, sell, sell. Then buy-no-one to replace him. That's the Rudkin way.
-
Donkey for donkey. How pointless. We do the thing where we go for someone who has scored against us, twice. Can't make this up.
-
You'll get better atmosphere at the protest before the game, than the 90 or so minutes during the game. It's going to be toxic.
-
And we are back in Bottom 3. Thanks Villa.

Could be some new records today. -
All well and good having a poll like this, but who else would take the reins?
-
Wtf is that line up? We really are up sh*t creek when starting with Ayew and Bobby helping Vardy in the lineup. Buonanotte on the bench again, Brighton may as well recall him at this rate.
-
So many short sighted people here. Poor Tom has been treated so poorly. He showed his potential during the Championship season, and we could have used it during the next Championship season. Let's face it, we are going down, those that don't think so are kidding themselves. And Cannon could have led our line after Vardy retires at the end of the season, which I can see being a real possibility. A nonsensical decision by a club that lumbers from one disastrous, mind-boggling decision to another. And anyone saying we are making profit, are very much mis-informed in the grand scheme of things. Get the board gone.

I wouldn't blame him if he walks. Been served one heck of a bad hand with injuries and poor performances across the pitch. The lack of financial backing when he needs it most may well be a last straw. Any prospective clubs will happily take him on and overlook the circumstances which were already in motion before his appointment.
