  1. I started losing hope when we lost to Southampton for the second time this season. Managed to pull ourselves out of trouble before the World Cup, but I had a feeling that lightning was not going to strike twice. Still preparing for life in the Championship since the Fulham away shambles.
  2. Leicester win their second of two games. Leeds, Everton and Forest all lose their respective games. Ndidi gets MOTM, we keep a second clean sheet in two games and Daka learns where the goal is in the 94th minute.
  3. New poll please. We have a new contender.
  4. I left as the clock ticked onto 90mins. Quieter traffic and my bed were calling to me. Best decision I'd made all evening.
  5. Worst possible trio you could have asked to be our midfield against Liverpool. One has regressed beyond words and has become one of our worst players. One has taken a ridiculous amount of time to adapt, and is showing some shred of ability way too late. One has mentally left the club and signed for Arsenal.
  6. These games should be cancelled. Our bunch of frauds should not be given a round the world jolly like these mere days before our next season. It's bad enough that Seagrave is treated like a holiday camp, it's worse them actually going on a holiday that most of us can only dream to afford. How has this club become so out of touch? The disconnect between club and fans during the time of King Power has never been greater. But if I offer a silver lining, it means that certain out of contract players will miss out.
  7. Fans Don't Quit Football, Players Do!
  8. Judging by the last two appearances, because he doesn't justify the word "performances", he had already signed for Arsenal. Mentally. Checked. Out.
  9. We give Maddison to Newcastle, in return for 3pts on matchday. Fair swap.
  10. No-one out there should get more than a 4. Youri easily the worst of a bad bunch, and most of that squad should never put on a Foxes shirt again. Just as well really.
  11. Is that our formation?
  12. Think the drop to League One gives one a run for its money. But yes, this is easily the most painful season given our recent success, its the alarmingly fast fall from grace which hurts the most.
  13. Will they both run round in circles? One JM doing that is one too many.
  14. Top can stay as long as he wants as long as he invests properly and starts with a brand new set of Directors. Otherwise, I'll send King Power my thanks and bid them adieu. If Rudkin and Whelan don't pack their gold-plated bags and hit the road, then King Power should.
  15. This wins the post of the day. Thank you and goodnight.
  16. Yes. Ws watching it even before we were promoted back to the Premier League in 2014. Our eventual relegation won't change that.
  17. Good ol' Sammy Braybrooke?
  18. Whilst we can still mathematically survive, you have to look at how we have played and the teams we still have left over the next three games. It's over. The relegation bell tolls. The fat lady is warming up her vocals in the dressing room. We need to stop clinging to hope if there is hardly any left, it makes accepting relegation so much easier. And I'm at the game tonight, and am not expecting much of an atmosphere. It won't be toxic really, just more deflated (which also contains the word "flat").
  19. TDLR: Too long, didn't read. Not exactly a compliment towards your post. And what would change that? Playing better. Playing like they don't want a relegation on their career CV. That they want to avoid to seen as contributing the demise of a club that won the Premier League, FA Cup, two 5th-place finishes and a semi-final of a European competition. They will move on, yes, but the relegation will always be on their record, and will always be referred to at a later date.
  20. M69 Derby against the Cov... I've missed those. Assuming they get knocked out of the Championship playoffs (PS: Up the Boro)...
  21. The fans are entitled to their opinion. They pay for the matchday tickets, go all the way down to Craven Cottage, only to see one of the worst first-half performances of the season, or in recent memory. They had every right to tell the players what they thought, I would have done the same. There is one thing being disappointed with a performance, there is another being angry, that is how bad they players collectively were. And it's the same ol' story, waiting until the game is gone, in this case being 4-0 down, to actually take the game to Fulham, a must-win game which we lost, and we were doubly punished for it. Do the players care? Probably. Are they truly putting in 100%? Or do some of them know they are moving in the summer no matter what happens so they are not willingly putting in a shift for the club? Probably. Are we better off without them? Yes.
  22. 70% Rodgers for systematically destroying any team chemistry and belief of our players through shoddy tactics and abysmal player management, and for continuously selecting players that should be nowhere near the Starting XI. 20% Board for club mismanagement, ludicrous wage contracts, taking out loans that essentially bank on our survival, and twiddling their thumbs whilst Rodgers was allowed to run the club his way. This could really hurt us financially long-term. 10% Players just for the sheer lack of innovation, desire and hunger. Some just don't care. Rodgers' tactics may have been counterproductive, but surely there is enough talent in that squad on an individual level to earn more points than we have.
  23. Almost lost hope, then we beat Wolves. Now it's gone.
