Match Ratings: Aston Villa 2-1 Leicester City - Vote Now

5s and 6s all round other than 3 for JJ and 4 for Ayew (yes, he too was partially at fault for their winner). -
New right back. Now. Please. Thanks. Ship JJ off to some remote island somewhere.

COME ON JJ. I'd have rather you had cleared it for a throw-in or corner. Cheap goal to concede, and he has to be dropped for a while. -

Can you personally verify this? -
He's better than our full backs, so it would be a yes from me. But Southampton would never sell him to a relegation rival.
-
No thanks, saw enough about him last time to think he isn't for us. Good luck to the lad though, there is technical ability in there somewhere.
-
Bottom 3. Think we're cooked. We can score goals, without question. But we just always concede more. A team that is incapable of keeping clean sheets or even defending to an consistently acceptable level, deserves to go down. We sadly meet that quota. The games we have won were all fortunate. Bournemouth: Opposition were wasteful, we were clinical. West Ham: Opposition were wasteful, we were clinical. Southampton: Awful performance, saved by Fatawu. I personally believe, right or wrong, that Ruud is not the right appointment, but we have to give him a chance now. I was more Team Moyes, for the sake of sorting out the defensive calamities, which still happen intermittently. January will be the test of RvN's capabilities and use of the transfer market. Good luck to him, but I've seen enough to think we are heading back down.

Seems like it, the fan in question has been banned since the West Ham home fixture, and has not returned since. Shocking treatment by the club to be honest, and shame on those that did the reporting. The atmosphere is as worse as I can remember it. Even the singing section is falling silent.
-
Same team performance as Manchester City, we could easily take a point from this. Anything else, forget it and move on.
-
Our atmosphere is terrible. Has been for many years with the exception of that one season. Someone sat next to me for 16 years at the football in SK2 has been suspended for swearing too much, yet vaping occurs near enough everywhere else. The fans will.moan and groan, but won't turn on the board and hierarchy, but they will willingly turn on each other without a second thought. Our support at home games is embarrassing and spineless.
-
Too defensively shambolic to warrant a place in this league. A team that consistently concedes at least two goals a game, regardless of the opposition, should hang their heads in shame. Without adequate reinforcements and funds in January, the Championship and the EFL-sponsored dark abyss beckons.
-
Don't worry, they should be bankrupt by then. You really do have to question the morality of the club right now to have a sponsor like this.

Man City post match thread - 0-2 loss

Sums it up when we lose 2-0 but there was nothing but applause at the final whistle. Basically saying we played well, but Manchester City still won comfortably. Offensively much better despite the lack of wing threat, and we should have scored at least once. Serious defensive reinforcements needed in January. -
Not bad first half. Jakub has to do better with the goal, near enough gets an assist for his parry straight to Savinho. But we had a few chances ourselves, there is definitely a point in this game for the taking. COME ON!!
-
Congrats Jakub, you're now (and you always were) our number two GK. Ruud may as well leave if he overlooks this lad again, did a good job between the sticks tonight.
-
Without a unified clamouring for the hierarchy to leave, nothing will change. Mere pockets of resistance that get talked down in the stands will not be enough. Everyone can agree that the club is in a dire state, but sadly not many have the spine to campaign for change.

7 for Stolarczyk, 5s and 6s for everyone else other than the hapless Daka who gets a 4. -
No Ward dives backwards into the net!!
-
Ward dives into the crowd.
-
The defence against Wolves would have conceded at least another two. Much better in the first half, hoping for more of the same in the second. Come on!!
-
This is just a case of how many for Liverpool, especially if he starts Ward and Justin again. They're a bomb scare, the pair of them. If Hermansen starts and plays at his best, we may not win or draw, but we could still keep this respectable.

Amazingly, this has avoided being the worst team rating performance. That said, Danny Ward has taken the worst rating from Patson Daka. A rating that I sense, and hope will never be beaten! -
Can't help but completely agree with this. We are royally screwed with the promotion and PSR ruling only delaying the seemingly-inevitable, but we knew that without even reading this article. I've been a season ticket for 15 years, but for the first time I'm starting to consider my options, especially whilst our financially-incompetant hierarchy bring the club to its knees. The true dark abyss awaits us if relegation happens again. Top, less of the platitudes in the form of Xmas Foxes toys and beers, do your job and sack Rudkin. Or just do us a favour, leave and take him with you.
-
I'd agree, but you could say the same for the entire defence, and others that essentially downed tools and saw out their over-inflated contracts.
-
That was quick.
