Rate him to be fair. Annoyed with having shit managers that didnt have a clue. Better than sucking up to them If someone like Nige excluded him id rate it. Otherwise, any others, the fans have been slating them and then cry when Winks doesn't and has the bollocks to say something. I'd rather more with that attitude tbf. Again I realise im in a minority but meh.

LCFC 0-1 Swansea, post-match thread
filbertway replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just seen the highlights All leicester, even the Swansea goal came from our highlight Ffs -
It clicks tomorrow. Abdul, Patson and Winks! 3-1. Obviously we concede a goal from an absolutely non threatening situation at some point. Anyone want some of my drugs?
-
I like that they don't show any attacking, defending or where the passes are going. I guess these were the highlights
-
If he's got Rodgers' ego then hopefully he'd steer clear. McCarron coming from city group that loves that style of football as well. It's gonna be some copy and paste coach that has been taught that death (usually to your own team) by possession is the only way to go.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

This is preferable to going down with Harry Worley playing CM. It'd be iconic -

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

Panenka, over the bar. Go out in style. -
Reading the middle 2 lines, "I'm renewing" makes absolutely no sense to be fair Understandable though if you've been going down for 50 years, severing that tie completely isn't an easy choice after so long.

On reflection, playing a balanced team and dominating games isn't actually the one. Vietes Fatawu Vestergaard Lascelles BDCR Winks Mukasa Ayew Hutchinson Daka Monga Surprised Rowett hasnt considered this. If the clown has a brain he will take heed of my advice. Alternatively, pick 10 defenders and we dont really need to attack but we will just win each game 1-0. Dno how but thats how it works apparently. Basically anything but what were seeing. Because despite the clear domination. Its the ruddy formation thats the issue and not the available players.

Chris Davies would be grim. Sideways and backwards, everywhere we goooo

Littler reaping the rewards for his behaviour last week with this crowd

Feels like the Rodgers days again, just in reverse I was right about Rodgers and by god I'll be right about Rowett! (Don't let me down Gary)
-
I'd say the players. Obviously if he's leaving Mbappe and Reuben Dias on the bench then fair play, but every single player in the squad aside from James has come in for criticism and and played poorly. Not sure what people are expecting from the guy. Some kind of mad magic. I'm gonna chalk it down to frustration to be fair, it is annoying. However looking at it objectively and not through a lens of absolute misery and disgust at the club for hiring a manager like Rowett, we're playing as well as we have done this season overall. Would be class if it clicked one game and we didn't have 5 or 6 brain farts in a game. Ideally soon, like this weekend.
-
Well sure, but I'm not sure what more the manager can do if we're putting up those kinds of stats. It's individual errors at key moments that are causing the poor results, clearly we're doing enough to dominate and create chances and we're not conceding a great deal of chances. I'm sure the beloved Roy Hodgson or any gaffer would be experiencing similar pains if their players keeps conceding chances and missing good chances.
-
It's doing alright recently to be fair. Results haven't match performances. Playing 3 defenders a light weight CM and 6 attacking players is a ballsy choice Maybe we can end with that after we've shipped 2 goals from absolutely nothing haha.
-
The joys of playing a low scoring random game. Roy Hodgson getting noshed off and Rowett's getting absolutely battered. Gotta love the power of result based thinking haha.
-
It's just the corportate way of saying this
-
I don't think so, from what I've seen of him and that report. I'd say his fault is in not accepting he's injured. I make that the 3rd time this season when he's aggravated and injury because he's not listened to his body.
-
To be fair, I'm glad you're not picking the team on this one That'd be a brutal watch. I know there's clamour for change, but Fatawu and Thomas as wing backs. Skipp and Aribo in a midfield 2... I'd fancy Swansea to have 4 by half time and that's without the brain dead moments. Does Vietes even speak english? If there was nothing riding on the game it'd be funny to see if we could ship 10 playing with that team, but I would like us to look somewhat decent as we have done the past 3 games. I think Daka starts ahead of Ayew mind. Rowett seems to like a settled team. P.s. don't be quoting this if we end up being 4 down at half time with the usual team!
-
Pretty much bang on to be fair. Key moments in both thirds the players have let us/themselves down. Especially in the last 3 games. We've looked a decent side overall and out of nowhere we look Sunday league for 30 seconds and it either costs us a goal or we contrive to squander a good position. I know the vast majority don't want to acknowledge that and want to view everything through a lens of unbelievable negativity, but that's pretty much how I've seen it. Not entirely sure how you remedy costly individual errors. If you took a sweep of foxestalk of players people don't want in the team then we'd be left with academy lads that people haven't heard of. If the defence could stop making costly errors and we more of the big chances that we're creating then these draws should turn into wins. Unfortunately we're 90% into the season. Our best finisher is injured and no combination of defenders seems to stop the costly errors. You'd hope that letting them play together regularly would help.
-
Yeah Ben Nelson hit the woodwork from one in the Stoke game. Thomas then hit the post with a 2 yard header about 30 seconds later There's been a fair few drop in and around the box as well.
-
If we can find a way to finish then perhaps we can win 2 or 3, we could really do with our best finisher, James, being back in the team. 28-6 on target in our last 3 games and we've 12-1 today 10-3 on Friday 5-2 v Watford. Big chances in the same games. Watford 0-4 Leicester Preston 0-3 Leicester Wednesday 1-2 Leicester If we can find some of that luck that Marti had, where we managed to win 3 games having had 6 or less shots on goal in each game. You'd like to think we could pick up some points. I'm in the minority but there's been an uptick in performance and the last 3 games we've been the better side, it's also felt like the effort has been there. In my opinion anyway. The team and club have been massively disappointing for a long time, but for me, there's a few shoots of positivity for the remaining games of the season. I'm gonna try and enjoy those, because regardless of what division we're in, Rudkin gets another summer to set us back another notch. So I fully expect next year to be just as horrific regardless of division Normal pessimism will resume in the summer
-
I'm sure had Rowett managed to have more than 3 starts out of James he'd have picked up more results as well Last 3 games we really should have won with the opportunities we had. Quite a contrast to absolutely robbing points in games with a woeful performance and James/Fatawu worldie. Mad to think what this squad is being paid, and the guy responsible gets a nice promotion.

Away v Sheff Weds. 06/04/26 Match Thread
filbertway replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Thought the effort was there, but my god the ability isn't So many misplaced passes, poor shots and poor crosses. Some good saves by their keeper but given the positions we found ourselves in, we should have been doing much more.
