Yep, a glimpse into our future under King Power there
-
Premier league teams pay over 4x more than most teams in the Europa and Conference league pay their players. It's not a surprise to see the "weaker" teams do well in Europe when you can basically sign 99% of players eligible to play in the Premier league.

He's done really well there, but can't help think the defender didn't have to lash that into the net, feels like he was close enough to do something to just kill the momentum of the shot

I think Mukasa would probably be a decent target man if we wanted him and James in the same team.. He's definitely not fast, but he's fairly strong and so intelligent. He plays the ball first time a lot, regardless of the height or angle the ball comes at him. Compare that to watching Ayew take 800 touches when there's a very obvious pass to a man in a good position. I thought he led the press quite well yesterday as well and was even signaling to the team to push on at times when we were slow getting up to them. Him and James could probably link up quite well, would certainly be trying it out in training anyway. A lot of remaining games, I think we'd probably expect to have a good portion of the ball, so I think that negates the need for pace a bit. Probably only Ipswich away where you'd choose Daka purely to keep that threat for their defence. Shame we've not got a Wilf. Mukasa and James doing the Maddison/Tielemans 8 roles would be beautiful.

Really not concerned by any other teams at all. Can't see us going down under Rowett, we've got some very favourable fixtures coming up and he's got the team fighting. You can still see they're low in confidence at times, but they're showing willing. Pick up a few results and that confidence should increase as well. We've got an absolute cheat code in Mukasa. If he stays fit and we see James back soon then that's the kind of quality that any team in this league would love to have. Hope we continue to see this momentum build. Refreshing to have an actual manager again after a long line of coaches. Considering Rowett has had 2 away games in his first 6 days, the signs are very promising.

I think the fact we didn't fold in the first 15 when they were going at us hard was impressive. Under Marti or King I'm fairly confident we're 2 or 3-0 down after 30 mins.

Must have missed em when I got a drink, still haven't seen one
-
Damn, was hoping Ayew was coming off then
-
Dont think we've attempted to prevent one cross in this game
-
Christ watching Mavididi and Ayew on the same pitch as Mukasa is painful. Absolutely no tempo and need about 5 mins to spot a pass
-
Ooooft, unlucky
-
Cant tell if were terrible at tracking runs or Boro are just very good in and around the box. Probably a bit of both. Rowett must be wondering who's coached some of these boys Effort has been a plus. Sheer weight of numbers in our box has kept chances to a minimum, but ideally we would reduce their promising positions which have been plentiful. Respectable half and feels like Rowett is at least getting a response from the squad.

Draw is a fair result at half time, if we make it. Good fight being shown. Constant reminders of how bad some of these lads are at playing football though
-
Nelson has been superb in his duels, looked tidy on the ball as well Okoli
-
**** me Mukasa over the ball and Bobby takes it
-
I'd rather have the free kick than Mavididi recieve a pass there
-
King Ryan is backkkk

Going for a 2-0 win, maybe 3 if we're feeling spunky! Clean sheet and a win to kick off the Rowett era! -
Time to hang up the goal-tending mittens I reckon. Some career he's had for himself though.
