  1. Chairman is definitely cashing in on assets after a successful season. Feel for Glasner as he's the one getting screwed over.
  2. I was pro appointment. One of the things I was excited about was that he has been known to work with younger players. Been disappointed with the disregard of the young lads so far but there's time for that to change. I like the way Forest fans talk about him like we (sensible fans) talk about Pearson. I feel like I'll like him overall as he probably won't just talk bullsh*t. So I'm positive about this one, definitely more positive than the vast majority of people were before 9:15pm Monday Will re-evaluate after 10 or so games and weigh up the pros and cons. No offence taken either haha. In my defence there are very few positives to take from the club in the past 4 years or so
  3. This isn't aimed at you at all haha. The general vibe is this thread is completely shifted from last week Just waiting for it to swing back to violently negative when we lose.
  4. When do we bring Frank Sinclair into the convo?
  5. Not really, he just misjudged the bounce and was a fat b*stard by the time he was playing for us, so didn't have the agility to recover from it. It happens.
  6. If anybody who doesn't follow football is looking to understand the fickleness of your bog standard football fan. I encourage them to follow this thread closely this season
  7. Ulloa pen v West Ham. I'm still nervous watching it despite knowing the outcome
  8. I think the one from Mount in the FA Cup final will take some beating for the occasion.
  9. Neither of those suggest it's a bad tackle though or at least one with an intent to break his legs like comments are suggesting. I'd expect 99.9% of footballers to apologise after breaking someones leg, I think the only one in British history not to is probably Roy Keane I feel like you see tackles like that one all the time, just unfortunately part of the game is bad injuries.
  10. No way youre looking at that replay and claiming shocking challenge The comments are mad, can only assume the majority are biased or privy to an angle that actually shows a shocking challenge.
  11. Hopefully he puts in a few decent performances and we can get a fee in Jan/summer Seems a class lad, cant knock his attitude and knack of ending up in the right spot. For me though, he's nowhere near Premier League level, I have my doubts about him at championship level. His speed of thought, decision making and technical ability just dont seem up to the level.
  12. I thought that was Fatawu, sorry Abdul.
  13. The people clapping him taking a corner for the 4th or 5th time were weird as hell to be fair.
  14. I want to say Winks and Fatawu...not sure if any others had a crack
  15. They are going to be struggling if he sticks with Johnson, Solanke and Maddison. Couldn't believe Kulisevski didn't start. I said last night, some games it'll click for them and they'll blow some teams away. But there's not much consistency between those 3. Madders being the most talented but disappears at the first sign of trouble/as soon as the clocks go back. They could have conceded 2 or 3 for sure, but they also could have scored 7 or 8 if their forwards had any sort of composure. Not just the people shooting, but people making wrong decisions at key moments. We were genuinely fortunate not to be 2-3 down in 15 mins. I really hope it wasn't Ange's decision to spunk a massive wedge to get Solanke because I'll lose a lot of respect for the man. The guy reeks of championship football.
  16. It was for about 15 minutes after we scored...the majority of the game was us sat on the edge of our box watching Spurs play around with the ball at walking pace.
  17. This lad is the player I thought we were getting in Casadei. Class. If this doesn't wake us up and have us scouting South America then I don't know what will.
  18. If he was then fair play...although even if he was, I think my point still stands
  19. You can't tell me that Will Alves would have been a worse option than bringing Bouba on for 15-20 mins last night.
  20. It felt to me like the second half was going the way of the first until we scored that goal out of nowhere. Then Spurs completely folded and we started playing like a team that thinks they deserve to be at this level. Until the Soumare change then we handed back the imitative. Felt like the championship last season, the amount of chances we gifted and the opposition just hit their shots straight at Mads every time. It was clear the players were playing for Cooper which is a good sign. I just hope that he and the players realise we don't just have to be here to make up the numbers and we can actually look dangerous ourselves if we actually try and get into the other teams half more than once every 20 minutes. Was nice to see Maddison taking the sting out of every opposition attack instead of killing our attacks.
  21. Theyve packed their front line with some expensive dross. Itll click some games but most of them are far too inconsistent
  22. Ange must be sick.
  23. Mad sub that. Ensures that spurs will dominate and likely score in the last 10-15
  24. Bloody hell Romero just ran past Vardy there Class by Fatawu!
  25. Christ Spurs are awful infront of goal
