I think his attitude will be more of a hinderance than the 1 good thing he'll do every 4/5 games.
-
Chips are gonna be down a lot this season and he's a right stroppy baby. He'll be on loan with no worries about the future of the club. Has absolute travesty written all over it.

If you've not had any interest twickets.live is your best bet. fan to fan resale

You must have missed the part where he said that the players are also asking when there'll be new signings.

Plymouth looking as tactically astute as you'd expect from a Rooney managed team -
Just think, if you can get through this season then you'll be prepared for anything in the coming years

Massively different from other games in other divisions which are dripping with quality and consistently free flowing football -
Coopers first job should have been to find out who he can trust and who he can't. Tough to endear yourself to the fans if they're watching you make the mistakes of the past.

you'd have to be on some strong medication

To be fair I think you've shot the gun on this one His post was fine

I find it mad that people think there's only one way to play the game. Usually it's either people are coaches that has been on courses and taught that there's one way to play or it's people that religiously follow these coaches on twitter. Completely stuck in a bubble and they don't even see it. Ultra obsession with playing percentages, "control" and being risk averse are absolutely destroying the enjoyment of the game as a neutral.
-
The real reason should be, because they're absolutely gash.
-
To be honest, I trust Brightons recruitment more than ours, so if this goes well then maybe we can be regular developers of their talent once we sink down to the champ
-
Developing Brighton's young players for them, quite a reality check for anyone that needs one.

As a club famously short on keepers. £10m for a 31 year old makes grand sense.

We need more wingers. Despite the fact we've ran with absolutely no backup for our wide men for years, it's not the norm. Only interested in this if the attitude is right and his wages a right. He'll see this as a drop though, so my instinct says that he'll want us to pay a premium on his salary.

Last time we played a Friday night match on my birthday we walloped Southampton 9-0

From what I can see this guy looks pretty poor on the ball. Imagine his defensive and attacking stats being skewed high are due to the fact he's 6'6 for handy in both boxes for set pieces. Paying £10-15m for midfielder that's not very good in his position but is good at being tall seems about right for us.

What are your expectations for next season?
filbertway replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Right now on the 5th of August 2024, I would be shocked if it's not the relegation. There'll be no coming back first time of asking next season unless they're willing to risk the clubs entire financial future on a coin flip. We've just about finished up wasting the very last of Pearson/Walsh and Puel/Macia's work. Cooper and Glover seemingly don't even have the opportunity to do any work. You'd have to have to be firmly detached from reality if you give us a chance of staying up with how things stand. With us struggling to create much against fairly weak opposition, we could be in genuine danger of troubling Derby's record as well. If Cooper keeps us up he has greatly exceeded expectations. -
Feels more like that's a start of pre season thing rather than 2 weeks from the season starting.
-
If he chooses the latter then it's a bullet dodged.
-
Based on his time at Coalville im not sure that makes much difference

So would I if not. Earning a million a year seems decent. He could probably get more in Saudi and I'd say fair play, go get it. If we can't afford prime meat, then you sign youngsters and 33+ year old's on lower wages. If those older players are unhappy at being offered a million a year + performance related bonuses, then they can do one as far as I'm concerned.

2 year deal on 15-20k base + incentives, I wouldn't hate it. Paying anything more than that for a soon to be 33 year old would be a classic Rudders move though.
