If were doing end of year awards, i 100% vote Pilskin for biggest drama queen -
Has our greatest success been tainted?

Almost reads like Rudkin was unfortunate to have 150m a year to spend on wages. (When we went down I think it was 180m, that may have been the season before though) -
This is exactly the kind of action you'd expect after his hollow words in that car crash of an interview

Punching well above your weight consistently is impressive and something to be immensely proud of for me. Of course it's nice to win things, but if you're pitching all your enjoyment and judging your club on trophies won then you're not going to have much fun the majority of the time. -
I guess it's for the love of the game for most, there must have been about 100 people at lakeside last night watching. Assume the crowds with pick up as it hits the latter stages. I only really started properly following the darts in the past 18 months so (watching Euro tours and players championships as well as the majors) so I don't know too much of the history. With the popularity gaining in the young crowd and acadmy's popping up everywhere, I wouldn't be shocked to see the PDC expand further over the next 5-10 years. I don't really think it's on them to support other organizations though, they offer a pathway for any players to join their own tours/seasons. Most players obviously have their shirts plastered in sponsors, which I assume helps covers their travel and expenses. A lot will play be able to play in exhibitions owing to the fact they have a platform to become well known, which will generate them further cash from the game. Obviously this is coming from someone fairly fresh to the game, so can't comment too much on how things used to be before the BDO tanked. Have just been reading about the 2019 world masters...what a farce

Wow. Clueless is an understatement.

I just want to confirm that I did not write that article Reads like it's written by someone that doesn't pay the slightest attention outside of the 90 minutes a match is played and probably still tries to find the results on ceefax.- 50 replies

I don't even understand the premise of the question, I only had to reply here to say that it annoyed me -
Have been watching a few bits and pieces, caught Mitchell Lawrie's game, very impressive start from him. Had a couple of slow legs to start but then put in a solid display. In world champs news, class to see that David Munyua has now got sponsorship so he can get over to the tournament

If you don't think that being literally 2cm away from him isn't stopping him then I don't know what to say Shame as it was a great finish, but hes messed up there big time -

Who in our squad do you reckon stands out as too good for this level or head and shoulders above? How many of the ones that look average do you think are up for scrapping and out working the opponents? We've got names that have been in the Premier League, but im not seeing many players that should be in it. Mad that we're spending around 40m a year to pay this squad

Im already excited for the next manager out thread. At this point the positive of sacking him is seeing people say the next manager is awful as well. Nothing to do with the awful bland squad with no personality to go with their limited ability

LCFC 2-3 Sheff Utd, post-match thread

It was nice of them to give up in the 2nd half and give us a chance. Fair play to Wilder for that. -
Sheffield United H Match Thread

About as good as we can put out now, although I would love to see Monga in the 10 role. Ill just take an entertaining game at this stage -
This has potential to be one the most entertaining championship season ever. Teams are taking points off each other for fun. Boring football is getting sussed out and its proper leveling things out . Get some athletic boys in the team and get them in the box. Classic recipe for success

Every game we could lose win or draw. Whether we're playing bottom or top, to me anyway, it feels like there's an equal chance of any result. Most of our games come down to individual moments going for or against us, with a little dose of, how many players fancy it on the day. Which makes Sheff Utd at 3/1 look decent odds. The gap between 2nd and 17th only being 8 points feels pretty wild, even with only 17 games gone. -
Done this myself at a game before, although I realised how stupid I was being about 1 second after clicking on the game. Absolute clown behaviour! haha I paid penance by grabbing myself another pint.

Can't be many decades away from people turning up to a ground to watch a full sim of a FIFA games.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Most of these suggestions are gross -
Would be easier to swallow if we weren't paying Soumare, Daka, Skipp and Vesty about as much as that squad probably earned combined

How can he be blamed for the 2nd. Christ almighty that's an insane reach

I don't mind if we lose, but for the love of god do not let Patrick Bamford score against us. -
Following a Coalville lad in the JDC World Champs in Gibraltar on dart connect. He's into the 32. Also noticed Mitch Lawrie is in the same tournament. The lad is a joke

Obviously you have to factor in the cost of sacking another manager and then hiring a new team. Do you think that another manager improves us to the point of getting us up? If so, then it's worth it. If it's because we're not ready to accept that we're overpaying a mediocre squad with very little fight or athletic prowess, never mind footballing talent. Then I don't think sacking achieves much other than slowing down how quickly we can sort out this squad. Hanging fire till the summer seems logical to me, unless they're willing to spend big on reinforcements and hire an absolute elite gaffer in Jan. I have my doubts that they're capable of either.

Given neither will start, then I'm sure we can.
