Nacho? Fofana had a decent game but for me he most def doesn't get ahead of Nacho with two assists and a goal plus all round great link up play.

A few lovely weighted passes, one of which was especially good. His coming on pretty much coincided with the three play makers coming off and our play stepping down a gear. So he wasn't involved as much as he could've been with the opposition having a little more possession in the final 15 minutes. With Perez being garbage of late I hope we see a lot more of him.

He clearly couldn't be arsed when he came on, you could see that from his body language a mile off. The dopey bugger was defending from behind the play, I couldn't understand why he wasn't getting goal side. Completely switched off for their goal, head in the clouds and he knew he'd fvcked up. The loss is on Rodgers though. Gave up and played for the draw bringing sideshow on for Mendy. Pointless. Why not bring Under on go hell for leather and try and win the game for a change. I think it's time Iheanacho started ahead of him now. With one lovely pass he created more than Perez in the entire game. Removing the striker responsibilities, Nacho is still more of a creative influence anyway as evidenced in Barnes goal, that pass and his very tidy link up play in general.

His pass completion rate must’ve been woeful today. Almost willingly gave up possession as soon as it got a little tight. It wouldn’t be as bad if you knew what he was trying to do, but a lot of his balls forward and across are almost completely aimless. So frustrating to watch especially against a side like Liverpool where you’re working double as hard to win the ball back. I fear he lacks the footballing intelligence that would ensure a much more complete player.

On the showing of these first 2 and half games Perez is not as good as Albrighton. He’s slow, seems to lack awareness and is far too easily dispossessed, time and time again.
