  1. 2nd from bottom.
  2. You can't blame them for such a poor free kick and some of his corners were no better. There may well be a 'good' footballer in him but he looks like an egg at the moment with the larva, pupa and full grown butterfly to potentially arrive which begs the question why is he even here instead of playing Page.
  3. Please for Fuchs Newport beat the bottom club, Harrogate 2-1 to move 4 points clear of Barrow although they have a game in hand.
  4. Rowett wont play the youngsters because he wants experience yet he continues to play 18 year old Mukasa at the expense of Louis Page 19.
  5. Has he gone yet.
  6. All the midfield and defenders 3, not matter how they played for not taking a yellow card to stop the goal. Probably should be a 2.
  7. With thanks to AI . I haven't the time, energy or patience to create one myself. ⚰️ A Satirical Requiem for Leicester City Football Club (As performed by a club that has absolutely no idea how it got here, and even less idea how to get out.) We gather here today to mourn the passing of Leicester City Football Club, taken from us far too soon by a series of unfortunate events, poor decisions, and the occasional defender who appeared to be allergic to marking. The club’s final years were marked by: Transfer windows that resembled a car boot sale at 3pm — everything overpriced, nothing useful, and someone walking off with your best player for a fiver. Tactical plans that changed more often than the King Power’s pie supplier. Managers who arrived full of hope and left looking like they’d aged in dog years. Defending that was so experimental it should have come with a government warning. Leicester is survived by: Fans who still insist “we’re a sleeping giant” while nervously checking the League One table. A stadium that once hosted Champions League football and now hosts existential dread. A recruitment department that swears it will “learn lessons”, despite clear evidence to the contrary. Cause of death: A tragic cocktail of hubris, chaos, and the Premier League’s annual tradition of kicking the little guy in the shins. A midfield that dissolved under mild pressure. And, of course, the classic Leicester ailment: “We’ll sort it out next season.” Spoiler: they did not. The funeral procession will begin at Filbert Way, followed by a wake at the nearest pub, where supporters will raise a glass and say things like: “Remember when we won the league?” “Remember when we were good?” “Remember when we had a functioning defence?” In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ‘Please, Not Another Rebuild’ Fund, or directly to the nearest centre for traumatised football fans. May the Foxes rest in peace — or at least rest in mid‑table, which would be a start.
  8. I'm jealous of Oxford United and Newport.

  12. Sir Keir Starmer has shelved his Chagos Islands deal amid worsening relations with Donald Trump after the US failed to formally confirm its approval. Trump had urged Starmer to scrap the deal despite earlier expressing support for the treaty. In January the president called the plan an "act of total weakness". UK government officials have said they are not entirely abandoning the agreement - which would hand sovereignty of the British territory to Mauritius - but have run out of time to pass legislation before Parliament is prorogued in the coming weeks. However, a new Chagos bill is not expected to feature in the King's Speech in mid-May. It is understood the UK has still not received a formal exchange of letters from the US - a legal necessity required for the treaty to be enacted. The Chagos Islands - officially known as the British Indian Ocean Territory - are located in the Indian Ocean and Britain has controlled them since the early 19th Century. The deal would see the UK cede sovereignty of the territory to Mauritius, and pay an average cost of £101m ($136m) a year to lease back a joint UK-US military base on the largest island, Diego Garcia.
  13. https://the72.co.uk/2026/04/10/leicester-city-torino-keen-caleb-okoli/ Leicester City defender Caleb Okoli is the subject of interest from Serie A side Torino, according to Italian outlet Tuttosport via CuoreToro. Whether they stay up or not, player sales are likely at Leicester City. One man who could be set to move on is defender Caleb Okoli. Italian outlet Tuttosport, via CuoreToro, are claiming that Serie A side Torino are keen to bring in Okoli. The Italian side have already begun “initial investigations” into a potential deal for the 24-year-old ahead of next season. The club is eager to capitalise on any opportunities.
  14. If True? Melania and Ghislaine with a bunch of teenagers!! Bet she wished she'd kept quiet.
  15. A reunion event for the 2016 title-winning squad will take place after the end of the 2025/26 season. • The Club are working closely with players from that era to develop and deliver the event and details will be made public in due course. I thought Simpson had said they'd had no response from the club on this.
  16. Enough of English politics let's have some more Trumptrash
  17. I watched a game at Birmingham from 10 ft up the floodlight structure back in the 60s no one bothered us. It was the same game when it was really hot and a bottle of drink was being passed around only for people to find it was piss.
  18. Darren Motsi has been named in the England U16s squad to take on the USA, Argentina and Mexico in Florida this month 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👏
