Need VK to stay fit. Managing his minutes as it’s his first game back
-
Okoli beat Archer to the ball. Saved a certain goal. Reason to celebrate tbf.
-
Reminiscent of Fernandes scoring against the Nazi’s for the Allies. What a goal Skipp
-
We were much the better team in that 1st half. Just terrible play from Skipp and Okoli at the end.
-
Yet their centre half hasn’t received anything for 4 + fouls
-
Yeh you’re the first one to mention that if Skipp had any sense and urgency he wouldn’t’ve put Okoli in a position to demonstrate his brain dead defending.

Chanting about the owner and about Rudkin at games has also received a significant amount of media coverage tbf -
Top is uninterested when it comes to Leicester as well. Very rarely watches games and has had no interest in actually recruiting a senior board - or a new manager. He’s let Leicester slide into being a laughing stock in this country and he’s taking us into the oblivion and financial ruin of league 1.

We get one more season of parachute payments irrespective of if we are in The Championship or League 1. It doesn’t make any difference anyway as we’ve already taken it as a loan so all monies from it will got to that Australian ‘vampire bank’ Macquarie. The only potential spend will come from fire sales of players like Fatawu 😢and err ..Luke Thomas🥴

His best form by far was when he played in empty stadiums during lockdown and even then he was judged more generously as all young players are. He’s never been that great and I agree he’s been very lucky throughout his career. His most recent contract renewal with his wage doubling, despite consistent failure here and on loan is the latest example of this remarkable ‘luck.’

As we’ll be even more reliant on matchday revenue to face off bankruptcy, a mass boycott of matches and merch will very much quicken not having a club to go to tbf. -

Maybe those of us who can’t stay away could do a Vestergaard and have any elective surgery they’ve been putting off now the season has all gone to shit. This would give everyone a perfect excuse to miss games without feeling bad. So if anyone has any planned ops for hernias, varicose veins, boob jobs or even a trip to Turkey for new teeth and hair planned, do a Vestergaard and have the operation now the season has become an embarrassment. Have a guilt free break from football, be part of the process and plan for next season, be fit and ready to watch us in League 1. Vesty will be fit and ready too for the summer move he’ll be planning too! -
Realistic Managerial Replacements

Be still will you! Will Still will still be getting his severance payments of goodwill still! There’s little will still at Leicester to actually recruit a manager so Will Still will still be out of work. -
In the second half they continually targeted his side, a tactic they surprisingly didn’t do so much in the first half, despite how bad we know we are defensively on the left. In that first 45 Kingy got Thomas to bomb forward with Winks covering his position and that created an overload which tbf was really effective. Thomas had less defending to do and Fellows ended up trying to cover his attacks. As soon as Southampton switched it up and targeted our left and Thomas had to defend against some quality in Matsuki, he folded. Tbh he got absolutely ripped apart. He just hasn’t got anywhere near enough defensive quality at this level. VK has to be given the time in the first team now that Thomas has had. He’s not ideal but he’s better than Thomas.

442 and writes his team down on the back of a fag packet. Gerrimin with Wacko as assistant manager. -
Beggo has an air of ‘Podcast’ Coady about him. You’ll find him chatting shit on Sky and various international channels covering PL games and he also does some NFL stuff at times. When he’s not doing that he can dial it in at Leicester. His presence hasn’t improved Stolarcyck nor has it improved the team.

No better than Stolarcyck. Sticks to his line. Can’t kick. If Stolarcyck had palmed that shot out for their second he would’ve been panned on here.

There wasn’t anyone cheering anything on at the end of this game. The atmosphere was as toxic as it’s ever been down there and rightly so.

He’s not the messiah, he’s just miles better than Okoli. That’s not saying much tbh but it’s something. A reason for the smallest, tiniest bit of hope. -

Patson missed two almost sitters that would’ve taken the game away from them. -
Classless blue on blue thread where non attending fans are actually abusing/mocking/blaming attending fans and mods aren’t locking it. Wow.

I thought Mavididi was one of our better players in the first half yesterday.
-
Yeh I agree he plays on Tuesday. I want him to prove me wrong. I always remember years back when Simon Grayson went from a figure of derision to be a stalwart for us and I hope Skipp can do that. At the moment I just don’t see enough of a contribution that affects games positively. There’s plenty in the team that could have that criticism thrown their way tbf. I just think central midfield is one of the worst places to have a player who can be anonymous.

A true test will come against a team that uses long throws, corners and set pieces more than a lightweight Burnley do.
