He would’ve fitted in as Winksy’s understudy with Enzo. The lad could retain possession and he continually moved off the ball to create space. The quality of people management has gone up significantly since Rodger’s has left. The article states he played 7 games in the Premier league for us, this is correct only if you ignore the other 91 premier league matches he played in a City shirt!

Hamza didn’t replace Casadei’s position. He took the Ricardo inverted fullback role and Ricardo took over Casadei’s right number 8 position and was much better than Butch. I agree that it might be worth trying McAteer if Enzo decides to keep Ricardo as inverted fullback but I personally think he’ll keep the team as it finished. We need Ndidi back and players like Praet and Alves pushing Casadei to improve.

Yeh and maybe with Ndidi out Enzo might start with this set up against Boro. Perhaps for the first time this season there could be a first 11 switch for a real negative reason rather than just to rotate. Casadei was way off it yesterday and he can’t complain if he’s replaced at right sided number 8 by Ricardo. It’s a shame Praet is unavailable as he would be perfect in the role.

Out of the 6 minutes of extra time we saw about two minutes of football. Ref was oblivious. Can’t believe how much credit he’s getting. 😂 -
We didn’t create much today. Vardy really struggled and that wasn’t helped by Leeds nullifying our number 8’s throughout the game, (particularly Casadei who was schooled by Kamara) once the goal went in they also doubled up on our wingers. Would’ve been a draw but for a poor bit of defending at the corner. Fair play to Farke for his tactics tbh.
-
He wasn’t that bad, his passing wasn’t as good as it has been but considering the pace of their attack and the fact that going 1-0 up meant they could play on the break, they didn’t actually create that much. It was more we created very little going forward.
-
I get that but he was scruffier with the ball tonight than he generally has been under Enzo. He didn’t try and hold the ball up and a few wayward first time lay-offs put us under pressure and on the back foot.

That’s a very generous rating. Lost control in the last quarter. He was oblivious to the shithousery that Leeds employed to time waste. Very little actual football was played in the last 10-15 minutes and the ref didn’t realise/care what was happening. Not sure it would’ve made much of a difference tonight but he wasn’t worthy of being given too much credit for his performance. -
I’ve been saying this for YEARS. This place has been crying out for a reaction t9. And YES someone finally agrees with me! -It IS because ‘when o saw a laigh!’ So there. Blue Army!!

It works both ways. What about the chances we missed? Two games now when we’ve missed some absolute sitters. -

I thought we deserved it despite Sunderland playing well purely on the quality of chances we had. The ref missed 2 stonewall penalties for us (Vesty, Fatawu) and never picked up Ballard and especially O’Nien for blatant grappling and holding more appropriate on a rugby pitch throughout. Numerous times he gesticulated he was giving us the advantage when a freekick would’ve been more advantageous. Add to that that their keeper had almost a 10/10 performance with two saves onto the post and other outstanding saves against Casadei. Mads had a much quieter evening for us with the gloves. -
I was watching the Swansea stream because there was a commentary delay on the LCFC stream and it was sparked by Lee Trundle the ex lower league baller and Swan who was co-commentator. He was adamant that the ball had hit Faes arm even though the highlights appeared to show it hit his midriff and his arm was by his side in a natural position anyway. It was never a penalty.

It’s a term to describe terrible clothing. Type rascal clobber in Google search.

Weakest player?? You watch a different Ricardo to me. He was excellent today and he’s been excellent all season. He plays a key role and it’s quite a complicated one. Playing as both a fullback and a central midfielder receiving the ball always under pressure. Alongside Winks and Vestergaard, he’s been absolutely key in that central area to allow the team to play Maresca-ball.

Manager confidence down? WTF👀 -
A quiet night for the Nacho doubters on here tonight I guess. He was excellent. Great goal, great hold up play and showed good pace running onto the ball 👍🏻

I thought he did well today. Combined well with Yunus, won lots of the ball on the floor and aerially. His best game for us. Well done Butch.

Purely on that recommendation I’ve bought 2.

I’d say 80% of fans outside of the two singing areas in the ground don’t know the words to most of the songs, that’s half the problem. Maybe if the most popular new songs had a a lyric sheet on here it’d help those of us who can’t make out the songs words so can only join in with the basic ‘ei ei ei o etc’ ones.

Fair play to Blackburn’s sub keeper Wahlstedt, Danny Ward would’ve been impressed with his showboating ‘no look’ concede versus KDH. #baller- 295 replies

Did well when he came on, he’s getting used to the physicality of the league. He gets a least one ‘kicked into the stands’ foul against him every time he plays. Clever on the ball and good movement off it.

Playing this system and playing in The Championship, Verstergaard is on a different level. Absolute baller.
