It’s becoming more difficult to support LCFC when the club is owned by these clowns. The same feelings must affect the players to some extent. This game, and the rest of the Christmas fixture list, hinge on how well MC can get the team to focus and block out the negativity. It doesn’t take particularly skilled management to send a memo in April to say that from now on December pay date will be aligned with the other months for X reason. With 6+ months notice there’s no need for an apology, just let the staff know that’s what’s happening. No big deal, no bad press, no demotivated team members.

In other words: “Please accept my corporate words and lengthy explanation in lieu of being paid in time to buy your turkey and kid’s presents as previously promised”

I’m all for bending the truth to prove a point, but this is a ridiculous statement. There was a small amount of negative chants at that game (1 in 8 of the group that I used to go with joined in …. Very briefly, and was never allowed to forget it from the rest of us). MON did hear those chants and was certainly hurt by them, and didn’t seem to ever forget. But even at that low point MON was never “hated”
