First of all. My sympathies with your wife and nephew. I think that is a simplistic take although. If we condone that kind of behaviour then that would bleed into other elements of the society. I do agree that bullies sometimes do need good kick up the arse rather than substandard talk in head's office.

Saw a link to Conor Chaplin on Facebook on a free transfer. Was a major influence on Ipswich getting promoted from L1 and has a good record at that level. Apparently got a good character off the pitch too which would a bonus for us. And as someone helpfully commented on Facebook, Conor can also read our last rites for us 🙄

I am disappointed at Leicester's descent and mismanagement much as anyone else but the consant comparison to clubs who were in League 1 or NLN whatever when we were lording it in Premier League and now share same division as us is getting on my nerves. Football for majority of teams are all about peaks and troughs, that is the reality of football. It also smacks a bit of a sense of entitlement to be honest when we have been traditionally a yo yo club although I do agree strongly that we have squandered our chances to be an established PL club which is a disappointment.

Still cannot get over how wrestlers including some high profile ones were willing to accept stinkfaces.

Did Sneinton Market pub crawl last weekend with Panthers ice hockey game sandwiched in middle. Did King Billy, Partizan Tavern, Bunkers Hill, The Bath Inn and Fox & Grapes. Liked King Billy and Bunkers Hill best, we rolled in Fox & Grapes just before last order so the atmosphere were bit lacking but reckon it got potential. Was supposed to do two taprooms but one of them were closed and didn't have the time to do other. Was a decent crawl with added entertainment of ice hockey as a bonus.

Late to the party for The Bear but... That Fishes episode....WOW. Easily best ever TV episode ever. Superb writing and narrative in building the backstory for main characters and making their behaviour, motivation and persona feel so natural and believable. I felt equally traumatised as them watching that mother!

No, it would be my first time. I have been wanting to go for ages although especially that I live in Derby so get to enjoy walks in Peak District. Was planning to wing it as it would be a last minute trip but now I am thinking I should do some research!
