No, just walked past and saw you inside. You have posted your pearly whites enough times on Foxestalk and Countdown to be spotted!

Working on it. Still stuck at Queens rummaging through bins for your receipt. 😆

Leicester 1- 1 Tottenham Post Match Thread
The Blur replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
I thought it was important that we appear to have more characters and leaders in the squad this time around. Winks were bollocking others after a corner (think it was because nobody attacked the near post which he asked for) Vardy, Mads, Victor and Faes/Vesty to a lesser extent all have contributed aa well. -
Was you in Queens after the game? Thought I recognised you.

Heathrow Fox playing the long game. Noice.

Have anyone bought a refurbished TV before? My three years old decided my TV would make a good racetrack and have damaged it. Was thinking I would be better off buying a refurbished TV for few years until my boys get more older

Fair enough, I went to the school opposite Travellers Rest so always going to have nostalgic tinted view of it. I have seen the photos of the facelift for Royal Standard and had a peek inside, would not say I am not too bothered as it was not a saw and dust pub before and always had that slight hipster feel to it before. That sounds great! Do keep us posted on which pubs/villages you went to, would like to do the same! Used to live close to Barton upon Needwood which is not quite Derbyshire but it has 4/5 pubs in the village including one in Barton Marina (standard chain pub mind). They have a banging Indian restaurant (Little India) too. Always have wanted to do one there.

Nice, I have visited most of them expect for Alexandra, Furnace (thankyou, I walked past that pub few years ago and have been racking my brain since then as I thought I imagined it due to its weird location), Golden Eagle (always were unsure if it's shut as I drive past it on way to work every morning) and Falstaff (picked up a mate from a wake there once). Have you been to Royal Standard since it's face-lift? It is my work pub but haven't been in it for a while which is bit criminal. I would add Greyhound to the list, it has been bought out by same propertior as Royal Standard. Travellers Rest and Hole in Wall are not too shabby. Seven Stars' ale selection is limited but you cannot fault its facade. Have not been to Ye Olde Dolphin Inn for yolks too, cannot remember if it's worthy of a recommendation. The Ale Post is worth a glance but does not do it for me. Five Lamps is one of my favourite, there is a nice communal feel to its interior layout but the new owners have plonked on weird climbing ivy inside which is awful.

No! Truly sad news, cannot imagine how Craig's family are feeling now. RIP Shakey.

My wife's cousin had a similar experience last year where the sellers was faffing around talking during packing. The cousin ended up helping out with the packing!

I asked around about Norfolk earlier this year but ended up in a place very different. French Rivera. Spent some time in Nice, Monaco,Frejus and Port Grimaud (also known as Venice of France) with a Eurocamp in Frejus as the base. I can throughly recommend each place for their own reasons and French were much friendlier than expected. Monaco was on another planet!

Last three football shirts I saw in the public was Leicester, Notts County and Chesterfield (all in Derby or Derbyshire). **** you big six

Just noticed Logan was one place away from being in points

And ridiculously tanned Albrighton in weird light grey jogging pants.

Technical descents? Is that an euphemism for stairs? Lol
-
Any pub recommendations in Derby? I live in Derby but always on a lookout for pubs I have not been to.
-
Lot better than Leicester although. Cathedral Quarter and Ashbourne Road are not too bad.

I was toying with the idea of buying a book about World War 2. I usually prefer fiction apart from autobiographies and am not a highbrow reader so the idea of swimming through a dry non fiction book have been putting me off. However I took the plunge and bought All Hell Let Loose by Max Hastings. It has been a good read so far with bitesize accounts of geopolitics that has influenced and shaped the war. Will consider Max's other works after this as I understand there are other books that go into detail of military campaigns and tactics.

Couple of developments during silly season. Ocon to leave Alpine at end of the season. Perez signs two years contract with Red Bull.

My post is deliberately manufactured to join inner Foxestalk circle on the wrong side of the law. Bring the ban on bitch.

Anyone tempted to put heating on as we approach June due to chill this week? 🤣

Just noticed Iborra was playing for Olympiacos and apparently came close to scoring.

But we then went and bought three players in January transfer window?
