My wife's been having issues, I read this post back end of last year and downloaded Allen cards book on audible. I found it awesome. I've stopped drinking myself now and my wife is still battling but getting there. So thanks for the recommendation and secondly would highly recommend for anyone having issues 👍

I agree, I'll judge the performance on the pitch not the line up.

Would you take Pearson til the end of the season?

The fact we aren't even speaking with him, shows we are ****ed. Rudkin needs to **** off, get Nig in the building in any capacity if he's well enough. -
The media in this country but in particular those of a right wing persuasion are an absolute joke. They contradict themselves on a daily basis depending on what fits their narrative that day. There is no discussion, no middle ground, no credit when it is due, they don't even report on the basis of fact these days. Scare monger, attack and lie. That's all they do and are a huge reason out country is so ****ed in the first place.

Just wondering what everybody's aim is when completing a wordle, fewest guesses or within the 6 guesses as quickly as you can. Intend to do it when I first wake up in the morning and don't have time to really ponder over it so just try and get it right as quick as possible. It does lead to moments some days where I think I lf I'd have taken my time and thought about it I could have gotten in fewer guesses, silly mistakes happen when you are rushing. I typically complete it within 1-2minutes

Just had an offer accepted on a house, took me 6 months to find something suitable at the right price since accepting an offer on our house. Luckily our first time buyers were very patient. Can't wait to move now although packing everything up will be a huge ball ache.

I don't care if he comes out in a wheelchair phoenix nights style, there's only one man for the job and it's big Nig. Chrissy Powell and kingy on the coaching staff. Only way to stop the rot, let him rebuild the club for a third time.

Shit fight, but you give Jake Paul the props for taking the hits. AJs class showed in the end

So you think now is the time to 'cut spending'? You mention the welfare bill, but we know they will cut everything. Where else do you think we can cut? Let's also not forget, it was austerity that drove up the welfare bill, the shortism of cutting spending does more long term harm. Cutting spending solves very little within the economy. Torys have wrecked this country, first privatisation, then austerity, Brexit and finally trussonomics. As I said, brain dead.
-
I know the Tories are irrelevant at the moment but it boils my piss to read that kemi's new message post budget is 'cut spending, lower taxes' Cut spending? Wtf? Austerity is a major contribution to the mess we are in, we have to spend to get things going again. Absolutely brain-dead response.

I'm just gonna come in and completely disagree with this, the Tories were idiots and screwed more renewable energy projects that were ready to go because of 'price' that would have turned out to be much cheaper than the cost of fuel the last few years. I've said this on the forum before, my wife worked for a research project in the local university. They were doing work for the tidal lagoon in Swansea and the Severn barrage. Both were, first of their kind and both could have been replicated across the country, getting cheaper with each project as obviously the first ones would always cost more. The head of the project was regularly dealing with politicians and I remember him being adamant that both projects would go ahead as tidal energy was such an underused resource and this would be the start of true renewable energy that could really we've the country due to it's replication potential. Tories scrapped both projects, refused the funding and did not see any long term benefit even given the relative higher cost of energy at the time. The infrastructure this could have built, the investment in this country and the amount it would have taken away our energy reliance on Russian gas was huge and now WE are paying even more because of their stupidity. Short sighted stupidity

Shouldn't these be in the gaming and music forum, think the OP needs a ban to think about what he's done 🤣

Post Swansea, I was very pro Marti and felt that was going to be a real turning. 4 games later and I was very wrong. Any successful team has a solid spine, those who you can trust to play week in week out and play their all. We don't have that under Marti and he seems lost as to who his best team is, chopping and changing the personal with no real change in performance. Nelson should always have been a part of that spine and has been left out until tonight, James is out best CM and keeps getting moved out of position or subbed off. I'd even rather see Hamza start week in week out rather than soumare or skipp. The personal aren't great but we aren't utilising them as we should either. I'd do anything for big Nig to be well enough to come again.

I've not read the article but didn't he run over dean gaffney a few years ago?

The why does every thread we want to comment on thread gets closed thread?

If last night isn't the turning point to realise wout faes is never the answer, and we have an unchanged CB pairings next game, then I am done. There's issues throughout the team, but that CB pairings are the foundations of our defence, and they aren't good enough. Wout faes positioning for the second goal again was shit yesterday.

Aren't we waiting for Lorenzo Hutchinson to sign a pro deal too? Would be a great message to the younger lads to get him on the bench tomorrow now this issue is resolved. -
It's still falling since I looked this morning. I'm with you though, I think the value is there ATM. Only worry is it's been nothing but downward trajectory, 60% slump in 2 years. Can they turn it around or is it a sinking ship heading for wilkos and Poundland territory.
-
Any thoughts on bme? Accounting error on freight costs has sent their price tumbling again. 2nd time in a few months. I don't have anything invested with them but tempted to have a little nibble
-
Don't know how to share the screenshot but today's word is my starter word, so got it one
-
I agree and I don't get it. Faes is making mistakes and missing tackles that lead to goals every game ATM. His attitude on the pitch is shit and he's an all round ball bag. Get him out of the club, let alone the first team.
-
Nelson bossed it in this league last year with Oxford, he had one cup game this year with us and had a bad game but hasn't been since. I've said it before but I'd rather invest in him, have him making mistakes but learning, growing and becoming the future of this team
-
I don't even think he needs to go too big on the changes to get a bit more slack. For me as is, if he can get faes out of the team for Nelson and get the likes of aluko, page and Evans on the bench, that's all it would take. Let's look for a winner in games with players trying to prove something. Worst thing that happened this summer was Faes not finding another club, the sooner he goes the better.
-
I don't think he's that bad, I don't think he's the greatest full back I've ever seen but I think if he had two CBs who weren't absolute dog shit next him, he'd do a enough of a job. CB and striker are more pressing positions for me
-
Faes was shit, but looks at janniks positioning too. Absolutely horrific defending
