Getting promoted is the number one priority. The financial benefits outweigh anything else. So playing the strongest team will be the way, with youth players playing when we can afford to do so. Different story though the following season as the high wage deadwood will be gone, and we’ll be in a far far healthier place financially, even if relegated, as is likely.

The entire board are culpable for the mess the club is in. Doubt we’ll see any significant restructuring or quality personnel coming on board until the club changes ownership. And that won’t happen until it’s financially advantageous to do so.

We'll be suffering the consequences of this if we get promoted too because we will not be able to lose as much as other Prem teams, which then limits the spending we can do. In effect, we need to survive in the premier for 3 years before its a level laying field in terms of allowable losses. The odds are really stacked against teams coming up from the EFL.

That would be great, but unlikely. Best we can hope for are loans with some of their wages covered. Also I doubt any of those are on £100k in the Championship, possibly 50k-70k though which far outweighs their value sadly. Probably won't see the back of them until their contracts expire next summer.
