  1. Lots of moaning here but let’s just reflect on the fact that despite having played all of the season with a large number of key players missing we have won our Europa League group, are 4th in the league occupying a champions league place, and are above all but 2 of last season’s top 6 teams. Life really ain’t so bad folks.
  2. Never really impressed when he was playing before. Was weak challenging for balls in the air up to him & had no touch to control it either.
  3. Yeah, but it's a measure of the man that he has already developed a strategy to deal with us next time we meet. Apparently unless we let them score more he's gonna take the ball back & tell his mum.
  4. I'm not convinced we are good enough to play out from the back and consistently beat their high press. I think this will be a vulnerability they specifically target, along with Justin at left back. Similarly though, Man City's weakness is their defence and I'd want any chances we create to fall to Vardy who definitely has the ability to score any chance that drops for him.
  5. I agree that our squad lacks quality in any depth but I can't see us spending big money on top talent, even if we could attract it in the first place. Player development will continue to be our policy I suspect which obviously has higher risk of failure, but can still bear fruit.
  6. If we want to compete on a consistent basis with the top 6 or top 4 we really do need upgrades throughout the first team squad. All of the following need moving on and upgraded replacements sought. Bennet Morgan Fuchs Amartey Gray Albrighton James Silva Mendy Slimani Iheanacho Perez Diabate
  7. I really hope we keep him. He’s not the finished article and will continue to improve.
  8. I raise the bar on this and offer up Kapustka.
  9. Or was he deliberately misleading the opposition?
  10. Looking for a big reaction from the players in the next game now.
  11. Yeah he lost two balls played into him from midfield consecutively. The second of which started the passage of play leading to the goal. He is either still not ready to play much part in the first team or is just not good enough. I'll add that Ive now seen the last 4 managers (I think) scream in apparent frustration at him when he just switches off and neither works to find space going forward or chases back when he loses the ball.
  12. Perfect opportunity yesterday to show he merits a place, but sadly he played like someone who knows his future lies elsewhere.
  13. You’d think he’d be busting a gut to impress but doesn’t seem at it at all.
  14. Is this on the IPTV Smarters app?
  15. We will definitely miss him in our defence. I think its very premature to believe otherwise given the lack of game time the two youngsters in waiting have coupled with Evans being prone to injury. Can we afford to not have a replacement? I would say no. On the plus side it’s clear we need to add goals to the team to push for higher places and the fee from the sale of Maguire at least gives us some money to do that. Attracting top talent to Leicester in the first place is an argument for another day.
  16. Is anyone able to point me at an IPTV guide to getting our games online, or offer some coaching on how to do it?
  17. It’s one thing having the money, quite another finding a top class winger who would want to come to Leicester.
  18. I really hope the club see the massive opportunity to get in the top 6 next season with 3 out of the 6 really needing an overhaul of their teams. Chelsea - likely to lose Hazard and have a transfer embargo, Arsenal - need a defence & a midfield, Man U - seemingly losing a number of 1st team players and need a large injection of quality & have a questionable manager in my opinion. I can't remember another season where the top 6 looked so attainable. Even when we won the league.

You want the Little Mermaid here? Probably better than Rondon, I'll say that.
  20. I just reckon that Rodgers is probably much better qualified than me, you, or anyone else on here to decide. After all, it will absolutely directly affect any chance of success he has as our manager. I doubt he’d take the decision lightly.
  21. You wouldn't say that if you've ever sat behind the goal. Actually I take that back - behind the goal was a pretty safe area
  22. I would imagine Rodgers would want the absolute best he could get in this critical position and if he feels that is Congerton then so be it. If the club are to back Rodgers then I would hope that they would back him in this too.
