Is there some analysis that shows how he compares to other keepers in the prem? Maybe they have something that measures expected saves against actual saves, mistakes etc. I’m sure someone cleverer than I could find that out & post it so we have some actual fact to discuss.

Hamza Choudhury the Trailblazer
Bablemikey replied to Nicolo Barella's topic in Leicester City Forum
We have a few exciting players with great potential in our squad but I have to confess that I really enjoy watching Choudhury play, he looks something very special. -
I'd agree with those who thought he'd turned a corner, I was of a similar mind but he's not shown that this season. Can't see any value at all in playing him when Vardy is fit, or even as a 10. In my view he is a passenger when he plays. If we lose Vardy to injury long term and he gets a sustained run in the team then maybe that'll be the breakthrough he needs, otherwise he's a difficult problem for a club of our size. Having made such a large investment we would want to give him every chance to come good but I just don't see any sign of it happening here for him here.

Wishing all good things for the lad, he certainly has the potential to make a significant difference to this side and become a key player for us.

He's been largely pretty disappointing. I did wonder whether Puel played him (& Shinzi) against Newport so he could score a few & maybe get some confidence or momentum going. They both had enough chances, particularly first half, but still failed and didn't look to me as though they really fancied it. Not sure where Puel goes from here with him but I am very doubtful he's going to be the standard of striker we want.

Fully aware of that but I believe we had a better chance of 3 points against the worst side in the division than even 1 point against Spurs. -
Fulham 1 - 1 Leicester Post Match Thread

If we really did rest people then it’s a poor decision. Should’ve fielded strongest side & gone for the win against these. Far more likely to collect the points against Fulham away 5han Spurs. -
As powerful and emotional as it was at the time it is doubly so now but for entirely different reasons. I’m absolutely choked all over again now.

Any news about the folks onboard or in the vicinity? Pictures are horrifying.

Only 10 games in, undergoing a huge transformation, and having lost a massive player in Mahrez I don’t find it at all surprising that we look a long way off being the finished article. Thought the addition of Iborra in midfield today was overall a positive one & his availability & passing really helped us move forwards. Söyüncü too was a positive for me & I hope that a strong partnership with Maguire can grow and help solidify our defence. Maddison didn’t have his best game today but over the 10 games looks promising. I don’t think we’re getting the best out of him yet though. Chilwell continues to look very strong for us down the left and I’m looking forward to seeing him develop his game further. Ndidi I thought was at fault for their goal today and should’ve kept on his man but he is still making some fantastic tackles & trying to support the attack too. Like Chilwell he seems to have inexhaustible energy, it’s really quite incredible the work those two get through. Iheanacho, Albrighton & Ghezzal are all currently not at the standard I want although in Marcs case he is doing everything asked of him but think that crossing into the mix like he does just favours the defenders. Amartey has been growing in the right back spot & looking a decent fit & our best option there. I haven’t seen the injury as it happened on the other side of the pitch to me, but the reactions of teammates & physios suggests it’s a bad one. Whoever steps in will weaken us. In the context of today’s game the WHU defence looked really disciplined in keeping a line. I thought it was a really dangerous game & that we’d catch them out eventually but it just didn’t happen. We still had enough good chances to win despite this though.

Scored our first champions league goal. A moment I will never forget.

We need more tattoos

Well he’s certainly responding to the lack of creativity we’ve displayed. Is it too much, are we too weak defensively? We’ll find out soon enough.

Way too thin to be comfortable on what will be a cold day.

So many "puel out" calls from fans, so who replaces him?
Bablemikey replied to cityfanlee23's topic in Leicester City Forum
It would be a massive coup if he came here but I’m certain he’ll have far more attractive options than us. Weren’t they talking about him going to Real Madrid at one point? -
This is a wind up right?

Not the same though is it. Bit like having sex with someone else’s dick.
-
This could be a really good game. I’m wrestling with respecting medical advice to stay off my feet or hobbling along to the game.
-
I’m not in the Puel out club but if this is a realistic option we surely have to take it don’t we?
-
Not a “must win” game at all. Definitely one we’d be targeting as a winnable fixture but what are we, 9 or 10 games in & midtable? Let’s not get too carried away just yet.
-
I’d like to see both our strikers testing the back 4 by running in behind. Often there are large spaces in behind the full backs that we never seem interested in when the fullback goes out to close down Chilwell or Periera yet both Vardy & Nacho remain static & central waiting on a cross.
-
I would agree with this. Although both Mendy & N’didi are decent players & doing reasonably well I don’t think the midfield is working in the context of a team. The difficulty is I can’t see an answer in our squad if we persist with playing 2 and we would need to go with 433 I think. Something like this maybe. Kasper Amartey. Evans. Maguire. Chilwell N’didi Mendy. Maddison Gray. Iheanacho. Vardy Or Kasper Amartey. Evans. Maguire. Chilwell Iborra N’didi. Maddison Gray. Iheanacho. Vardy

I think drawing needs to remain a former passion for you.
